He might not be a scouser, but he certainly pals around with them.
Still not seeing it with him. He's obviously talented, but it's a bit tiresome to see all the talented young players getting overhyped and sold for crazy amount of money.
Agreed. Reminds me very much like Pogba and as we know. If you don’t have a plan for him it can go horribly wrong.
Yep. Also has had a few extremely precious post-game interviews. If he ever ended up here the on pitch moaning between him and Fernandes would be insufferable
Yeah that was shameful! Definitely see Stevie G written all over him. Although I don’t really remember Gerrard when he was a teenager. Was he that arrogant when he broke through?
I used to think that Santi Aouna was a guesser, but he's one of the few surprisingly good journalists in Foot Mercato, which, without him (and Dahbia Hattabi) would be incredibly speculative. Still, the sort of info he gets tends to be more speculative than normal, so whilst we can put some stock into his reports, I'd rather wait for them to be corroborated to be safe. Still, it's good to know what he reports. My post was a response to that post. The journo in question has been on the money regarding Tchouameni , Weghorst and many other stories in the last year. And I remember @mazhar13 mentioning him as someone worth taking notice of. I didn't agree at the time but the journo has been accurate on a number of stories of late.
But that doesn't mean that Bellingham will definitely join Madrid.
Agree Maz, Santi Aouna has definitely been much more reliable than I gave him credit for. But like always bro, you're spot on when it comes to providing clarity on sources and their reliability.I used to think that Santi Aouna was a guesser, but he's one of the few surprisingly good journalists in Foot Mercato, which, without him (and Dahbia Hattabi) would be incredibly speculative. On Bellingham to Madrid, José Felix Díaz, who's great for Real Madrid reports, has consistently talked about how hard Real Madrid will push for Bellingham. He's very likely going to be their #1 target for the summer.
If he is smart about his next move, it absolutely can’t be Liverpool. Their future is so uncertain now with so much of a rebuild to do and no money to do it.
The glamour of Madrid obviously appeals, but you can very easily lose control of your career there and find yourself out of the team and I think he wants to play.
It’s United that has the stability of a new coach with a fresh project, probable CL football and a ready made role in an improving team. A proper club where he would have the chance to make a real difference and not just be another face in the crowd.
Money won’t dictate where the boy goes. Remember, he turned down a fortune to leave Birmingham before signing his pro deal. £250k Birmingham would have got, and Jude would have been £10mill richer himself in a hefty sign on bonus.
How many boys would turn that down?
There’s no way we’re signing both Bellingham and Osimhen. You talking around £230m on those two alone and we’re already at the limit of what we can spend under FFP. Unless we’ve got new owners by then and shift a load of players off the books then this is just unrealistic.
We are not at the limit of FFP rules. In fact the article that started that nonsense stated these two signings would be the limit if we got CL football in the bag. Any more and we would need to sell which we would be doing anywayThere’s no way we’re signing both Bellingham and Osimhen. If we get new owners and the debt is gone its no issue. Our club generates more than enough on its own.

But the 300m is already on the books so it’s already factored in.Fair enough. I’m just going off what’s been said that even with new owners we wouldn’t be going on a spending spree as we fear breaching FFP. I think it’s more to do with the fact we still owe around £250m on previous transfers so have to clear a lot off the books to bring more in. If this isn’t the case then we’re laughing if the Qatari’s complete the takeover.
Actually thats a smart choice, its not that hard to turn down if the player has belief in himself.Money won’t dictate where the boy goes.
