Huge clubs and the victim approach is one of the silliers things ever, on the other side of the coin small clubs that see absolute everything rigged it's also silly as fvck, even if they are right that most of times the weight of big clubs shirts it's real.
I dunno if at the end of the day this will affect or not, we don't know, it might, but in the way the stuff happened to not be objective and see it as a pretty normal affair that the ref "turned" into a messed affair for not being firm and tidy it's annoying, but in this social media era, it sells.
Not really. First 2 are clear mistakes and good use of VAR, third is bad use of VAR. The only weirdness - and the only reason so much was made of it - is that all 3 happened in the same game, in the same half, and the decisions went in favour of the same team

We do often get things our way but that wasn't it. The Vinicius hand/shoulde goal was an example of Madrid getting things our way. The disallowed goal was a very clear and obvious decision, you can't fecking smash people in the mouth in football

For someone who hasn't really followed him what's this based on? From the little I've seen he seems like a hard working player who runs and gets stuck in, on top of being exceptionally talented.

See this sentiment a fair bit. I think he's a player you can just tell has 'it' and isn't a pretender in the sense of getting a team over the line. Would take him at United warts and all, in a heartbeat. The kind of whiney entitlement doesn't half look grand in your team when it's combined with quality and certainty plus a player giving everything he has for you. But yeah, watching him impartially, he's designed to wind up oppo fans.

Everything a United player should be
Not personally done any diving into his personality and character but purely on the pitch his body language and negativity towards his teammates annoys me, he is really overly demonstrative with it, it is the type of stuff that can make it a difficult environment for less confident players. On the other hand he obviously works very hard, plays for the team (though some selfish tendencies coming in this season) and never shirks the physical, so you could easily interpret it as setting high standards and demanding a lot from his teammates, see it in a positive fashion.
Brilliant player, has the chance be one of the best the UK has ever produced.
Not sure where the criticism of his personality is coming from. What's not to like. He put in a real shift in a friendly game which says a lot for his desire not to accept defeat, scores a winner, talks sensibly. Absolutely nothing to criticise with the guy, he's getting the job done and seems like a player that delivers rather than flounders. Far better than a lacksadaisacal personality that you don't know what you're getting. He'd be a managers dream I'm pretty sure, in every way.
If I'm a opposition player, I'd definitely be winding him up during a match. Doesn't seem like it takes a great deal to get under his skin.
I don't see him lose his composure though, he mouths a lot but that seems to be his natural state.
He is quite easily provoked and don't forget he became the biggest legend of a 150 years old club being 16 or 17 years old. It's very tricky to manage this kind of expectations and talent. His aggression is his strength in the game and if I were a Madrid fan I'd be all over the moon, it's the type of a player you absolutely hate on an opposing team but love to have on your side. And again, not to mention his talent is immense and probably the biggest we've seen in Europe since Mbappe emerged on the scene.
Clearly incredibly talented but tries to do it all himself at times. Really good feet, tidy finisher and a real physical specimen. Good footballing brain too, despite occasionally getting Roy of the Rovers fever.

He is confident and has belief, but he comes across as a bit egotistical and arrogant. Top players have a bit of arrogance about them, but I find it hard to warm to him. Perhaps if I was as big an England fan as I am of United, I'd find it less irritating. He does this thing where he produces a really good bit of skill and then proceeds to linger on the ball. Almost as if he wants to lap up the applause and extend the moment. Emphasize to everyone what he just did, in case they missed it.

In the few Bundesliga games I saw him in he was constantly complaining to the referee and arguing with opponent's players. He was also noticeable for cnutish fouls. As others have said: a player you love on your own team and hate when he's on the other side. Apart from that, he's a fantastic player with immense potential.
I don't think it is, it's good that we've got players playing abroad and getting a different flavour so they can add things to their game or provide information for the rest of our squad. Similarly I don't think other nations see it as a travesty if their best players aren't playing in their league, especially the Prem for instance.

That's actually not my intent here. In hindsight it might have been wrong, but on the other hand who knows if Bellingham would have developed the same way if he went to United.
My point is more that this whole "red carpet treatment" is meaningless and I even question if it can be called that. One club let him meet formerly important people and offered peanuts, the other club let him spend the full time with the DoF and manager and offered serious money.
Which is the red carpet treatment? It just sits wrong with me to call that what United did.
Where have you heard of reserves? Ole just in an interview said we couldn’t offer him a guaranteed starting role that Dortmund could, Ole said he came in with a set amount of minutes he wanted to be assured of. He was evidently going to be part of the first team squad.

Anyway point is Dortmund offered both more high-level playing time and more money.
Was at the Belgium match and i didn't think he had his best game, few loose passes and a couple of missed chances but he's a real dominant force on the pitch. Drives the play on, covers every blade of grass, demands the ball all the time. He's a real athlete and I'd say arrogant in the best way, he shirks nothing and you can feel the confidence he has in himself.
England have had a lot of very fine players in my lifetime but not many have that X factor but this guys absolutely got it. Could really be the difference in England finally getting over the line

Bellingham and his team made the right decision for his career by picking BVB for first team football, just like Sancho before him. The rest is history. Odegaards got the red carpet treatment in Real Madrid from the president, but no first team football. We all know how it turned out.
