Shame we’re aren’t more like Brighton
1+1 contract. Job doneNo thanks, 1 or 2 seasons and we’d find it hard to shift him

probably not a great idea if i return to germany. last time i did that there was a minor disagreement for a few years between a few countries who didn’t like some of my rhetoric. it was a while ago now, but i think people will still remember. We got one great season out of him. Bargain for 70m.
If we could do that for free then it’s worth it. You should go Germany on the clubs behalf to woo him. Get your woo on, Rimmy!
Kimmich is having a great season at a far higher level than Schweinsteiger when he arrived. He’s also far more technical than Casemiro and less reliant on physical attributes, he’s the sort of player who peaks age 30 to 34.Welcome JFK, on what will be the 10 year anniversary of the arrival of BFS.
When will we learn?
Kimmich and Pep had a great relationship at Bayern but City want (and need) to get younger. Doubt that we'd be willing to take him on now.Great player but United have been burnt here before... Schweinsteiger, Casemiro, Varane.
When clubs as good as Bayern & Real at squad building suddenly let 30+ year old players go who've been a core part of their success you have to ask why.
In terms of fit as well, he's not athletic enough to play RWB in Amorim's system and probably not physical enough to play in a 2-man midfield either.
This aside from the fact I highly doubt he'd join current United. Feels like a City signing, perhaps Barca if FDJ leaves and they want a shiny new toy.
That's a big issue though. According to the Bayern poster on here, he's been offered good terms but his wage demands are very high.
Eriksen's stock was hardly high when we signed him. He'd had his heart issues and was playing for Brentford. Kimmich is opting to leave one of the biggest clubs in the world because they can't match his wage demands. I don't think we'll pick him up on a reasonable salary.
It'll probably be one of those 'frees' were the money saved by the buying club on a transfer fee is negotiated into very high player wages, signing on fees, agent fees, etc.
Ah yes, Id forgotten about that episode. I was shocked you got away with faking your own death and I’ll never understand where you found that cadaver who looked so much like you!probably not a great idea if i return to germany. last time i did that there was a minor disagreement for a few years between a few countries who didn’t like some of my rhetoric. it was a while ago now, but i think people will still remember.
I dont mean to be rude but why would he?The more relevant question is, even if we wanted him, why would he want to join us?
The only reason would be wages and if he did move for that reason it’s probably because he’s not hungry for it anymore and is moving for financial and not football reasons - ie the sort of player you don’t want. Also Ratcliffe is trying to cut costs so United probably can’t offer the wages he wants anymore too.I dont mean to be rude but why would he?
If he leaves us id bet money on him going to City, Real, Barca or Liverpool.
Why would Liverpool? Signing players on the rise, rarely players with “big names” on high salaries who might decline.I dont mean to be rude but why would he?

Yeah I think we're gonna go for him pretty hardMadrid seems like an ideal destination for him? They do lack a high-volume passer in the middle and Perez loves his free signings… I’m surprised that there haven’t been many links.
I agree. Time to move on from these types of deal and go for the top young talentsNo more old players looking for a big contract, the fact that Bayern withdrew negotiations from a time-served player says it all about his demands. This has Casimero v2 written all over it. Avoid!
He'd ask for a signing on fee which would be at par to a transfer fee. In such circumstances we'll have to give him a long term contract because no one spends 40m for a player who will only be kept for 2 years1+1 contract. Job done![]()
I'd imagine that they'd work similarly to his pairing with Goretzka. Neither one would be a pure holder (Rice seems to want to move away from that role), Rice would provide more physicality and attacking runs into the box & Kimmich would be setting the tempo.Apparently Arsenal are showing interest now. Him and Rice together would be interesting, though I suspect Rice would have to play a bit more defensively since Kimmich might not be able to cover as much ground as Partey can. He's a ready replacement for Jorginho, don't know if Rice does play deeper when playing next to him.
ThisLooks like a United signing that is regretted after about 10 months.
Yes he will definitely go with that1+1 contract. Job done![]()

Hey, it offers him an easy escape route if things go further pear shaped if nothing else. He might go for it?Yes he will definitely go with that
But how much would United have to give him in salary and bonus for a 1-2 year stint? Not sure that’s the best ideaHey, it offers him an easy escape route if things go further pear shaped if nothing else. He might go for it?![]()
I came up with it, of course it isn’t!!But how much would United have to give him in salary and bonus for a 1-2 year stint? Not sure that’s the best idea
For all we know he might still sign a new deal with Bayern. I expect that to happen.
Why have Bayern withdrawn their offer then? Are they just trying to call his bluff because they don't think he really wants to go anywhere else?
