He used to be one. And if he's decent at football, who gives a feck?
So which is it? Used to be, so no problem; or is, so who gives a feck?
Can't have it both ways.

He says he might stay and see out his contract.
I am loving his devotion to twitter at the moment, he is getting exactly the words across that he wants....
I've liked him ever since that statement.Best Barton Quote....
"England did nothing in that World Cup, so why were they bringing books out? 'We got beat in the quarter-finals. I played like shit. Here's my book.' Who wants to read that?"
Barton is a little bit of a poof.
The more I read of Barton on Twitter, the more I like him. He's not the braindead pantomime thug that people think he is any more.

I'm sure he gives a feckless what we think, tbh
he might be a lot of thing but, a bit of a poof is not one I would put on a list.
Why?
because he fights people clearly weaker than him?
Sounds like a poof to me.
Words are words. When he goes a season without punching an opposition player (or teamate) i'll start to think he might not be a complete cnut.

Of course he does. That's why he is running his little PR campaign on Twitter. #blackandwhitearmy my arse.
I'm sure he's devastated his campaign has yielded little fruit so far.

Just because you did doesn't mean he did too.Really : A man always has two reasons for doing anything: a good reason and the real reason.
Quote by J.P Morgan, I googled it, anyone can do that.
Everyone wants to punch Pedersen don't they?
Just because you did doesn't mean he did too.
TrueEven if he is googling those quotes, it still makes him Oscar fecking Wilde compared to the brain-dead "banter" 99% of footballers choose to tweet.

His tweets are seemingly more intelligent than the average footballers?
fecking sign him up I say.
Fergie could waste a shitload of time 'sorting him out'(TM) and we could pay him 75k a week to be 5th choice in midfield, we could even include Cleverly on loan to Toon where he'll get 3 games and we then can sell him for 500,000 to some team with a manager with a brain who plays him and gets 20million for him 12 months later.
If we're lucky Joey will take a dislike to someone in training and make Fergies decisions around team selection a bit easier, or encourage some of the youth to hit the bottle, weeding out the weaker ones, he's a real team player when it comes to stuff like that.

Manchester United are considering a stunning potential move for Joey Barton.
Barton's representatives are understood to have been in contact with Old Trafford coaching staff and discussed the possibility of bringing in the Newcastle midfielder as a squad player.
The fact Barton is free is a major factor in negotiations although the 29-year-old is keen to play regular football.
Other big clubs have also made contact with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City all watching developments. However, Barton wants to build on his performances last season and the amount of prospective game time he gets will play a major factor in his decision.
In demand: Barton keeps the ball away from Ryan Giggs during Newcastle's clash with Manchester United in April this year
The Liverpudlian wants to push himself back into England reckoning and wants the move to give him the right chance. His wages of £65,000 a week are too rich for some clubs but ambitious Stoke and Celtic remain interested.
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson spoke earlier in the week, following Barton's indiscretions on Twitter. It is understood Pardew was seeking out Ferguson for advice, with the 69-year-old known to take a typically hard line view on the matter.
Newcastle have also expressed an interest in United winger Gabriel Obertan
