Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

How is he not sacked?!

His history at the club. He's almost certainly their greatest ever manager. Due to his success on his first spell, he's a legendary figure at the club. Even this spell had been successful for him until now.

It's incredible to see a club like Chelsea, who once fired their CL winning manager a few months after when they looked alright, and who sacked another when he came 2nd in the league and won the CL final, sticking with someone who's got them near the relegation zone halfway into the season. Changed times!

He seems to have completely lost the plot.

Maybe Madrid did ruin him after all?

Must be close to getting sacked. A poor result against Sunderland and I think he will be gone.

Just seen this on Twitter:

Mourinho's career span

Season 1: Buy the bus
Season 2: Park the bus
Season 3: Throw the players under the bus

:lol::lol::lol:

Carragher has made some very sound analysis tonight and was also spot on with the calls, however weak and empty handed Jose suggested at them, but Chelsea either clear him out tomorrow or back him to clear out half the squad ASAP.

Even in his worst ever moment as a manager, it's still typical Mourinho to have political turmoil as a prominent undercurrent everywhere. Us or them. It defines his every move.

Only now it's them or me.

Some of those players don't deserve to pick up their wages. I know it's the manager's job to motivate his team and pick the players, but some of them look like they'd rather be sitting in front of the telly with their feet up. I wonder what's ailing them. All of this started about the time Jose decided to pillory the club doctor in public. Surely that can't be the reason they're playing so poorly.

Why has it gone downhill like this?
I think he made an arse of pre-season trying to avoid the late-season crash they had last year. That left them under-prepared and playing catch up. And once you start a season like that, you're basically shafted.

Certainly won't be the only problem, but it could suggest a sort of atmosphere at the club. From Abramovic's cut-throat nature as an owner to an arsehole like Terry as the clubs man figure, it's probably always been a place that only some can work in. Mourinho as manager is unlikely to help, either.

Regarding dressing room problems though, I wonder if it's worth nothing three main figures who have left the club in Lampard, Cech and Drogba. All three were club legends who had been there for a long time, but they also all come across as thoroughly decent people (at least off the pitch in Drogba's case). I wonder if losing some decent, reputable figures at the club has further soured the atmosphere.

Certainly, there are some major problems behind the scenes at Chelsea, and I think last season probably masked them. Players are quite evidently unhappy, they're managed by a guy who's a bit of a prick and probably not the most understanding when it comes to conflicts. Will be very interesting to hear more about all the internal politics when some of the key figures involved inevitably depart.

At the exception of LVG, do you guys know a top manager who has been in the same situation than Mourinho?

Yes. Amazing manager being let down by his board and players. Seems like a genuinely nice guy too. Really hope Woodward can see what others can't right now and will bring him in.
Hey Jose I think you should be focusing on the post match analysis not messing around on here.

Priorities mate.

I honestly knew this season would be bad. I thought they'd struggle for top four.

I didn't see it would be THIS bad. Man Mourinho third season is hilarious.
