Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

West Ham wasted loads of time yesterday, yet ultimately it was up to us to win the game...a point The Disingenuous One misses entirely.
But you didn't win and West Ham had the best chance.

Your post suggests that you dealt with time wasting amazingly well.

Not at all - we failed, hence we only drew the match. With cooler finishing, West Ham would've won; for instance, I couldn't believe Zarate's miss.

at least Moyes's attempt wasn't following his own genius. This is a shocking follow up to a stroll of a title win

It's also bizarre, it shows how important the psychological side to performance is because that team is at least top four material and then with a manager like Jose they should be where we are.

We can't score. None of our attackers are bothered about scoring.
Twas beautiful, I was resigned to Chelski thumping them but B'Mouth somehow held on at every Chelski attempt.
Alan Pardew in the Sky studios had it spot on; as no Chelski attack was successful and time was ticking by, Chelski started to get nervous within the last 10-12 mins, and totally against the run of play, from a set piece B'Mouth capitalised! I celebrated....hard!

That is so un-Mourinhoesque.

I was probably one of the few who couldn't believe that team was romping to the league last year. Chelsea early 2000s it wasn't. But put it down to Mourinho 2nd season magic.
Glad it's worn off .

2 points above relegation now with an away trip to Leicester, if Mourinho fails to win depending on results elsewhere they could slip into the relegation zone, but whatever happens the following weekend game at Sunderland will be worth six points in his bid to avoid relegation.

They've got a horrible run of away fixtures. Said it a few weeks ago that they needed to be winning their home games if they have any hope of getting Europa. Leicester have a chance of really embarrassing them next week.

Ferguson just said they would be insane to sack him, that'd be bad management from Roman who he thinks has learned from his past mistakes.

Chelsea didn't spend to reinforce over summer. No competition for places. I mean, I can't imagine anyone making Hazard lose sleep at night over his place in the starting line up.

Yeah. I mean, while that was pretty much true last year as well, and pretty much true of Hazard since he arrived, it seems as though complacency has crept in after winning the league at a canter.

Haha.

A bit presumptious of SAF:lol:

They've waited too long now, it could be in Roman's mind there's no manager that could rescue a top 4 place from this position so they'd be getting a new manager in just to salvage a top half finish, which is rather meaningless to them. So the real question is who do they want to start next season as manager... If he wants to give Jose another shot, new season, fresh start (of sorts), they may just have to endure this season which is already likely to be a write off anyway even if a new manager brought a change of fortunes.

I've read that Bournemouth players ran a total of 9km more than the Chelsea players.

Surely this can't be true? And if so, it shows that the Chelsea players have:
a) given up
b) are cooked
c) a little from column a, and a little from column b

That was what Danny Murphy said on MOTD.

I imagine he was given the stat by the Beebs researcher who should have access to the correct info.

That's ridiculous then. There's no excuses for putting in such a complete and utter lack of effort.

Essentially every Bournemouth out-field player an just under a kilometer more than their Chelsea opponents. Crazy.

Yeah, it definitely suggests that Mourinho has lost the dressing room which he will struggle to get back.

Wouldn't read too much into that...its probably a function of Bournemouth having to play on the counter and hence having to down more legwork to get up and down.

It could be that the gap is larger than it would be for games between two sides with such a massive gulf in quality though. I do believe Chelsea are not motivated enough, bizarrely.

Oh yeah fair point actually.

I suppose I should find some figures from other games at least to have something to compare them to.

Another press conference, another display of utter immaturity and pedantry from Jose. Honestly it is hard to believe that such a successful manager can crack up to this sort of degree.

Exactly, there is no point in firing Mourniho now, even if we lose to Porto. What could a new manager achieve this season?

As our club has found out, once the confidence has been destroyed it is very difficult to get it back. Think you're going to struggle much like we have under Van Gaal for the next season or two. Good luck.

He's always been a wanker. The thing is he's slightly less of one when winning and wanker behaviour is perceived as some indicator of genius when the results are going for you.

If we've got one thing right in our post SAF managerial uncertainty it's that we haven't managed to employ him

Another manager may invigorate the team, play some youth players and just get the team playing well and looking good to watch again. The problem with Mourinho is he isn't taking this write off of a season to develop the squad for the future or try and play good football. At the rate we are going we will be relegated with Mourinho. He also is embarrassing in every single interview with his stupid outbursts.

Why won't he just use the young players? He has nothing to lose.

He says he will use them when he has nothing to win. He has admitted we wont get top 4 this season now but still wont play them. He just doesn't want to.
