Why won’t we be interested in your opinion?
@JPRouve summed it up really, he's not a RB, he's a RWB. I would be very surprised if we decided to sign such a specialist player at the age he is, when we don't play the formation that would allow him to flourish.

Can always do with a big United fan in the team. He knows how this club operate.

Avoid. Tends to go missing around Christmas
Can't sign this guy cos he goes missing around Christmas, can't sign Neymar cos he goes missing in March (sister's birthday), can't sign Martinez cos he goes missing generally (so diminutive that it's easy to misplace him), most of our team went missing for the whole of last season... EtH has a tough gig here!

There’s been rumours of playing a back 5 with Martinez as a DM / CB hybrid.
This may strengthen that claim?

Another one I've never heard of: sounds more like a Swiss lawyer in one of those 70s films about secret neo-nazi groups

Maybe, but then we still have AWB and Dalot. One will have to leave before we bought Clauss, so we're probably very unlikely to hold a strong interest. Not sure what ETH thoughts are on Laird as well, few too many question marks.

Nah, do not want. Only ever turns up once a year, always riding in on the back of others, easily led, too old.

Always delivers though.

We should not hijack this, just let him go to Chelsea and then swoop for Reece James. If they still need a backup after selling Azpi they can have AWB.
He is not going to displace Reece James.

Imagine how active he would be on the boxing day!

Fergie would have loved him. Could get round all his teammates' houses in milliseconds to check if they're up too late partying or whatever.

No it’s ideal.

We may still want to see how Dalot/AWB/Laird develop so why totally block that pathway?

This won’t. perfect from the club.

No harm in bringing in a bit more experience in that area. He could be a good attacking outlet for right back as well.

But those two have had enough time and should be gotten rid of. Whether Laird is good enough is another question but he couldn't be much worse than those two have been.

But we have too many right backs already. Don’t want it to get too clausstrophobic in there.

A new RB would be dependent on us selling Wan Bissaka you would think.

Yeah Ethan needs a chance to make that spot his

Hmmm.

Can't say I know much about either but based on the description of this guy in this thread as a RWB rather than a RB and based Dumfries' slightly odd stats where he seems to get most of his touches inside the attacking third and opposition penalty area, I wonder if we're specifically looking for a very aggressively attacking option at RB?

Maybe someone who actually knows the players can compare them.
