Perhaps you are right, but then maybe there are two Jesse Lingards, the one that is apparently the worst human being on the planet that played for United and the one at Forest that was a decent team player, was popular, turned up and supported the club whether not picked or injured and was a pleasure to have at the club.
 
If some had their way they'd have kept "local lad" and "useful squad player" who "is good off the ball" at United

I agree. Young was a good PL winger that did himself a bit of harm by over staying at United, more United's fault then his. Lingard is miles off in terms of talent.

Mister beans has a miserable end to his play time because he looked at the money thinking he is a much better player then he really was.

Yeah we also had united fans making such ridiculous defensive arguments when he was still here. In the end they had to face reality when we booted him and now your club have done the same.
 
And forest paid this guy over 300k a week and he's only 21. Imagine what he's going to be on in a few years.

You're exaggerating the criticism. Half of them things are the most basic minimum standards of any professional. If all hes managing is being a decent team player these days then i understand you moving him on. Working hard, being atlethic and being a good team player were the only things going for him here. At 30+ the first two were never going to last.

Not near enough to even be in greater Manchester though. Warrington is about 16 miles from Anfield as well.

Bring him back, still has something to offer and was a great servant. Always was respectful towards the fans and the club. He knows what it takes to play and dance for the badge.

Seems pretty reasonable, considering you're expected to pay high wages if you're not willing to commit to a long term deal.

Rooney would probably sign him for DC United. Wouldn't be getting anywhere near the type of wages he has been getting though so he probably wouldn't go
 
What happened to his JLingz clothing brand? The thing he seemed to care more about than actually playing football or moaning that he wasn't treated like a club legend simply for existing her for a long time? The only things (thingz) I can find for it are a website that just says "Coming Soon" and an old Facebook page and Eastside Co site that both call him "Manchester United and England player".

I see him playing for Stoke at best. Can't see any other prem sides taking a punt on him.
 
He'll probably sign up to eSports, like Rocket League and carry on being useless there.
 
Young enough to turn this minor setback around.
 
I think the Championship is the next stop unless he can convince a newly promoted team to take him. Luckily, a youngster like him still has plenty of time on his hands and hopefully, he can turn things back around. I still see him starring in United's attack in the future alongside Rashy, Pogs, and Anto!
