Just look back on what he has done since youth team, it’s no strange for him to get himself out of difficult situation. He is a great asset to the team. Hope he can continue to keep fit physically and mentally, and help us in the title challenge.
I think he was always capable of goals like this but his family problems took him off course for over a year. Ole and he decided that he’d go on loan to try and get his form back. Well done Ole.Remember all the “he found his level” comments when he was at West Ham? Has he levelled up?
I’m not sure where is the similarity. Lingard’s role and ability are above Vazquez, the guy bench both Donny and Martial in pecking order. He is the Vazquez of United. If vazquez could play a role in UCL winning team surely lingard have a role here.
Tbf the difference is we have some glaring holes in our first 11, and unlike those two can't just turn the money tap on. If selling any of them had allowed us to bring in a quality cm it would have made sense. Fair play to lingard though, he is making many, myself included change our opinions.Never understood, City and Chelsea can have a stacked squad and people see that positively. Yet, some fans are saying that we should looked to sell the players like Jesse, DVB and Martial. Makes zero sense.

Martial got more goals and assist than him in the prem with about 24 more games played and before you say Martial is a striker, that hasn’t always been the case except for the last 2 seasons. When he's focused, he can overtake Martial without a sweat.
The type of goal best wingers score.
You said on Tuesday night you’d changed your mind again back to the negative. I feel like a bloody spinning top mate I really want to belive he has come good, and it looks like he has, but after being so poor for so long Tuesday really gripped my shit. You said on Tuesday night you’d changed your mind again back to the negative. Your head must be wobbling
Obviously it’s early in the season but I’m sensing a determination to prove people wrong from him but.. the season is long enough for the doom lords to get their day too. I’m sure they will get their chanceI feel like a bloody spinning top mate I really want to belive he has come good, and it looks like he has, but after being so poor for so long Tuesday really gripped my shit.
Well it's always good to have dependable options off the bench, long may it continue.Obviously it’s early in the season but I’m sensing a determination to prove people wrong from him but.. the season is long enough for the doom lords to get their day too. I’m sure they will get their chance
I get that you like lingard but people who don't aren't wrong just because he's scored 2 goals in 2 games.Well done to Jesse, the treatment he get's on this forum is shocking, so many fickle people out there these days and I glad he shut a few mouths up, at least for now...
Hypocritical, wishy-washy Bell Ends the lot of them.
It just shows how much I know about football. That could be a vital two points in the title race.
Time to extend?
Remember all the “he found his level” comments when he was at West Ham? Has he levelled up?
No because he should not be happy with being a bench player, Jesse is good enough to play 40-45 games a season for a West Ham, Everton, etc. Really should not be satisfied with a handful of games and being a super sub. Your level is where you are as a key team player.
Well based on his (and the teams) last two performances he is a key team player and shouldn’t be a sub.
Although, obviously, the idea that no player should ever be willing to be a squad player at a club as big as United is clearly wrong.
Was Phil Neville, Quinton fortune, David May etc etc all PL winning first eleven players? No.What about the CL game made you think he played well?
he did well yesterday, but is Jesse really replacing Bruno in the middle of the park? Unless you believe he should play out wide? He is not, and should not be a starter for United, he is good enough as an impact sub, but as I say he is not consistently first eleven quality for 40 games a season. He had a purple patch at West Ham and faded, once teams began to account for him. His level is not a PL winning team first eleven player.
