JLingz will be our RW against Chelsea, dont you worry guys.

And he'll last around 75mins. Without doing a single thing.

And he'll be replaced, not by Greenwood or Gomes. Not by Dan James.

By old man Mata.

Ole said Greenwood has a big chance to start against Chelsea, if he continues to perform as he has so far.

Let's hope the days of Lingard starting are over with Mason and James.

He is man less on the pitch. If you are no10 player than from my understanding of football, you must either score goals if you are second striker or if you are classic no10 than you must create chances for others, play killer balls, beat a player....basically you must play with risk.

He doesn't do anything on that position. He runs around and play simple passes. Sorry, but any player can play like that. He is just useless and when he is in the squad we play with 10 man
What about the energy, clever movement, fancy dances etc?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says many things, mate.

Until he actually walks the walk, I'm not believing him.

If We're going to use AM, use Mata. I'd even put Fred there. Lingard is useless.

Rotate Mata, Pereira and Gomes (unless we buy someone). As a CAM, all the above offer more end product than Lingard. Fred we haven’t yet seen in this role - but he doesn’t have a good shot (neither has Lingard, though).

We were promised players will be leaving, the only players that left were the guys out of contract.
Thats Ed mate.. It should be clear by now. Its hard to sell if you arent selling. Ole said it wouldnt be a rebuild and we wouldnt be releasing all the players. That is whats what under this regime.

productivity-wise Andreas showed more as number 10, even Gomes will be more useful compared to Jesse. What was he doing or where was he on pitch against spurs other than pointless run and trying to dribble full team and losing out eventually?

And you blame Ole for that, are you serious? We are a club that hasn't been able to sell Darmian for the third consecutive summer.

Better get your head straight about what's actually going on.

Sure its Ed decision to sale but Oles decision to use them. Poch just left Rose behind for their tour, this is what I want Ole to do if he doesnt want any player.

So who does he have to play? It's the pre-season, everyone needs match sharpness. I'm sure Ole will have the balls to play the youth when senior players don't perform.

This is what he does. I really can't see any added value he brings to the team. Pointless running and taking the ball and passing it back to a colleague right beside him is the norm for him. Retaining him and a few others is the sure path to mediocrity I'm afraid.

I wonder for how much he might potentially be sold in this market?

Should fetch £30m easily.

Come on, I meant really, not as a joke.

Nowadays, even nothing players that sit on the bench often fetch 30m or more, Lingard is an England international and his contract doesn't expire.

He is the epitome of one such. I'd say take the 30 million if someone offered that and run, I mean like fast.

Lingard is a high profile player, mostly due to his bollocks on social media but still, and an England international.

He'd go for £30m at the very least.

I don't rate him at all but the market is bonkers these days, he'd definitely go for a big price.

The number of clubs interested in him is .. um zero.
£30 would be a good deal , at least we'd get £5m a season off the payroll but no team will pay his wages for such little return.

That's always a great indicator of a player's ability and worth. How many clubs are in for Maguire and Fernandes this summer again?

Well at least one that we know of and both those players have been transfered before. Lingard will be here until either his contract runs out or he retires but as he's still young that's a long way off.
I'm not talking about just this summer, any summer in the past or in the future.
He could end up being the only United player that's never been linked with a move anywhere.

PS you only have to watch him to know his worth and ability.

I'd say his value is about 20 million max. He'd be a good signing at that price for a team like Burnley. His wages are the problem though, and he'd stick his heels in before leaving.

I think it's just a combination of player doesnt want to move, club doesnt want to sell, and lower clubs cannot afford him

He's a full England international who hasn't even reached his prime years, I'm not a big fan of Lingard but you can bet you'd get more than £20m for him.

How can any sane person make an excuse for this guy still being useful to the club? He is complete garbage.

Surely the worst regular starter to ever play for Man Utd? He's shit even against teams like Leeds and this KBK.

Hopefully we sign a no. 10 but as far as this preseason has gone he definitely doesn’t deserve to start in front of Andreas.

I didn't watch. Did he brake their defence with clever movement?

Don't think they will of even broken sweat with him mate. When you look poor against teams like this, and are poor in nearly every other game you play then the chances are you are a poor player, which he is.
