I have been trying to remain cautious on Lingard’s potential with us, his consistency being my main cause for concern, but he actually gets better as time goes by. That was a quality finish from him tonight, he is ruthless in front of goal.
Di Maria, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin. They all came and went but Lingod is still here and playing great.
The turn around has been sensational. His productivity so far has been nothing short of phenomenal compared to the expectations at the start of the season. Love it.

When it comes to Messi Lingard, there is no stupid question.
We are all perplexed how he has gone from a Championship level player, to an elite level player. This is the reason why most people feel that he will revert back to Jesse Lingard (ie. Championship level).
Feel like any time he gets to run at defenders and they back off towards their box he scores a screamer without fail. Love it.
