He's been alright tbf.

His movement was class. Absolutely lit a fire under our attack. Would like to see him get a game ahead of Mkhitaryan.

Obviously everyone has a different opinion but I just cannot see how you would replace a guy who has pretty much had rather a goal or assist every game this season with a guy who scored 1 league last season. It's been proven that when we start with Lingard we lack options and are poor. Lingard is much better coming off the bench where he can inject some pace and movement, and that coming from someone who doesn't particularly rate him.
Our attack is creating so much space behind the back 4 that any decent #10 should have a bagful. I reckon someone else can be far more consistent even if ending up with lesser end product than Mkhitaryan has now.
Did you even watch the game?I'm not sure by what standard that was a good performance. He was probably brought on for his discipline over Martial since we were leading, but going forward he was appalling. Can't beat a defender to save his life, he got an assist while he probably tried to shoot but can't fault the effort with him. At least he gives his all, Rashford looked disinterested today.
We were static in the second half and made no runs, which kept them compact. He changed that and his movement created more space, upped the tempo and woke our attack up. It's not always about beating players with the ball, although that would be a welcome sight.I'm not sure by what standard that was a good performance. Nice cameo imo. Brought some energy to the game when he entered.
Alright, I only saw the run for the penalty (that should've been). He beat two before getting fouled and should have been awarded a penalty. He also beat his man a few other times on the left.
This, I think any pro footballer with a good pair of lungs could do what Lingard does for us.Like having a first division full back on the wing with Lingard.
Yes i watched the game, why is that in question? Because i didn't see the game in your particular perception?Did you even watch the game?
Yes i agree with some of your points, he improved the wing play a bit because he injected movement and urgency. I don't share the sentiment that it was enough to be classified as a good performance. He tried to beat Keane 3 times, twice failing pathetically, had a very bad attempt on goal, the ''penalty'' incident was non existing in my opinion. As i said he probably was brought for his discipline, but if that was a good performance from a Manchester United attacker than maybe i have different expectations. We were static in the second half and made no runs, which kept them compact.
