Actually I get the feeling that he creates a lot of good atmosphere in the changing room and keeps the spirit high. I even think when he's in his prime he might make captain.
Christ I hope that's a joke.

He appears to be an intolerable unfunny idiot. Not that it matters in the slightest regarding his on-pitch performances.
Agree with both sentences. Those videos are seriously cringeworthy and almost as bad as the "team bus" and "dab university" videos.

In one thread Rashford's being judged boring and uninspiring for coming across as a modest and a bit shy in an interview, and in here Jesse's childish, intolerable and unfunny for showing off a bit on Snapchat :annoyed:

People really are quick to judge other people whom they hardly know anything about!

It's probably an inside joke... Never understood why some fans care about what footballers do off the pitch and on social media and stuff. They are just normal people after all

Because people like to complain about anything. Especially footballers or celebrities.

Stuff like "Maybe he should concentrate on improving his game instead of making stupid videos" are some of the most ridiculous comments. It's his job, he doesn't have to work 24/7. He's allowed a rest, I'm sure a 15 second video didn't really do much to damage his career.

I like him as a player, but he seems like a right little bell end. Imagine being in the dressing room, and always being around him doing those weird voices that he's always doing on his Instagram videos? How has nobody knocked him out yet?

They are just kids, let them have some fun.

Fairly accurate really. It wasn't great but it was reasonable, like almost all Lingard's games. He will always give you a 6-7/10 performance and against poor teams can step it up and cause real damage.

But this is harsh, no? His spectacular/individual goals and assists tend to come in big matches and against big teams. The stunner against Chelsea, the FA cup winner, the Community Shield opener against Leicester. For me, he's a player who guarantees 6 or 7/10 but comes up with more when you really need him to.

Also, I think his flick to assist Mata is getting surprisingly little chatter. That was a more difficult touch than the chip from Pogba which preceded it.

It's a popular challenge going around right now. He's just having a laugh and Pogba is enjoying it. Things like keep spirits up. It's the #HuhChallenge by the way.

As long as it doesn't negatively affect his performances.

Kids in being a bit annoying shocker.

Miserable cnuts.

Its impossible to tell from how much we see of him what hes really like, snapchat is supposed to be whacky and junk, he might even be doing some top level satire of modern day youths interactions with technology or going over the top to show his emancipation from the media training footballers have to go through.

Or he just has a really bad sense of humour because all of his friends from the age of about 9 have laughed at everything he has ever said as he plays for united

Either way this couldn't matter less. Just don't follow him.

I never understand the concentrate on improving type posts. Are players meant to be robots totally focused on nothing else rather than training and playing 24/7? What a load of rubbish.

Wow caf over reactions at its finest. It's called the #huhchallenge and its a very popular vine with the youth currently. Nothing really to complain or attack Jesse with mind. Some people need to wind their necks as there is far more serious things in life to get wound up.

He should be burned for doing instagram vids and Mata should be sold for doing blogs. How dare they do something away from football...

Aye, exactly.

People look into these things way too much.

Every set of pals have horrendous banter amongst themselves.

Tidy little player who will have a good career here. Shows the right kind of mentality to bounce back from the city performance like this

100%. As long as he's doing the business on the pitch I don't care what he's up to on social media. But if he did that twatty annoying voice around me he'd always be 'losing' his phone.

Could also be pointed out that he's 23 years old, jumping on a wave that's being pushed by 13-16 year olds. Odd.

Im sure he's sorry big man.

Nothing about being a big man. We're all forced to work with people that we wouldn't necessarily choose to have as friends. It's hard to glean too much from snippets of video on social media, but Jesse seems very immature for his age.

Neither myself or my closest friends were fully mature at 23 but that kind of stuff had been left behind long ago.

saw Kevin hart doing this to the rock on Instagram ... As you say it's just the in thing at the moment and nothing else to it .

Yeah it's cringeworthy, but he's doing it for his audience (kids) who use apps like snapchat and might understand/like it. It might actually have some marketing value to the club if it gets them interested.

If he did something like that on the pitch or in training it would matter, but we have no indication of that being the case. Eventually Pogba will just slap him anyway.

I'm a 1001% sure if it was Pogba making those vids, or even Evra, the last page would have been filled with

I'm 27 years old and think he's funny. Cheer up RedCafe.

Lingard is an okay-ish squad player. He has pace and loves Utd, but that's about it. I don't dislike him but he shouldn't be anywhere near our starting XI. He is fortunate that Martial is off form, Mickey doesn't look ready yet, and Depay is... well Depay. Once Martial decides to start playing well again, Lingard will be lucky to get a cup game.

Scored in his last two cup games at Wembley. Hater
