Wonder how he did. His trial was only for a week and the team as jetted off to Qatar now. The Leicester fans seemed surprised he can't even make their bench I wonder what we have seen in him.
Can play on the left, back and middle, and can play up front.Whats not to look at.
So can I tbh but not sure how well.
Schlupp has been training with the Barclays Premier League leaders since the middle of January and this second extension to the arrangement will see the 20-year-old striker finish the month with Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
"He's stayed there, we've agreed to extend that," Leicester boss Nigel Pearson told Press Association Sport.
"I have spoken to him a few times and Jeff is enjoying himself there, things are going well. I think it's great experience for the lad."
Schlupp, who came through the youth ranks at Leicester, has made five starts this season but the majority of them have been at left-back as cover for Paul Konchesky.
The Germany-born Ghana international also made an impact at Brentford during a loan spell in 2011, scoring six times in 10 appearances.
I've never seem the lad play and I know hes young but "backed to paul konchesky"? Surely we can do better than that? I mean we already have Fabio and Buttner...
Not sure when / how he became a left back. Looked very much a wide forward / centre forward when I saw him play. He also played as a forward when he was on loan at Brentford and done quite well.
TBF I'm certain Evra started as a striker, then moved to left wing and then left back. I don't think the move to left back happened until he was at least 19 or 20. I'm sure someone here knows. My point is, that players can sometimes change positions very successfully somewhat later into their development. Albeit rarely.
Sounds like a de Laet signing for me... obviously I hope he does well though. Our scouting department must see something in him if we sign him straight off the bench from a Championship team.
It's worrying that Paul Konchesky is the reason this kid has barely played a game for Leicester. I remember reading their forum and the fans couldn't understand how a premiership team would be interested let alone a massive club like us. Let's hope we have seen something others haven't but it's a strange deal. He's been on trial though so he must have done something to impress if we want to keep him, good luck to the lad.
So, he played as a striker against Liverpool?
Anyone else want to weigh in on how he looked? Perhaps we really just bought him because the reserve team needs a striker at present.

Definitely sounds odd, then. Perhaps it's a stop gap trial until Will Keane returns.
Leicester City could be on the verge of agreeing to sell Jeffrey Schlupp to Manchester United, reports BBC Radio Leicester.
Schlupp, 20, has been on trial with the Old Trafford club for more a month and featured in two under-21 games against Liverpool and West Ham last week.
The Ghana international is mainly known as a striker, but has also played as a left-back for the Foxes this season.
"We'll be discussing this week what the next step is," boss Nigel Pearson said.
"As soon as we find that out we will let you know. He has done well."
German-born Schlupp has only started 12 games for the Foxes, having come through the club's youth set-up, but has made a further 23 substitute appearances and also had a loan spell with Brentford in 2011.
Former Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who gave Schlupp his debut, told BBC Radio Leicester: "He's a very, very good football player with very good talent. I wanted to keep him.
"If he is ready for Manchester United, I do not know. It is a big thing for him but would be a big loss for Leicester if it happens."
Songs for Schlupp ought to be pretty good.
