He's a good player but I don't get the fuss. I would be fuming if we spent £80m on him.
In truth he's normally a great decision maker, as we saw there were plenty of times when he did make the right decision hence created some dangerous situations. Hes like an old school second striker imo without the requisite great movement. imo the system doesn't suit him all that much. Put him in the Leicester side that won the title i think he'd have been amazing. You have to think that by the time he’s 24 he’d have ironed a lot of that out. He’s already a very good player and seems to have a real hunger for the game. If he makes the right next move, he could become a really top player I think. He reminds me so much of KDB in that he has that instinct to directly threaten the opponents goal with the least amount of touches. Kev always takes the shortest route to a goalscoring chance, which is his best asset to me. He’s trying to hurt you with his first or second touch typically. Maddison has some traits, and he has the quality on his delivery to go with it. By 24 he’ll be a real player I think.
A better player would have finished the game 4-1 to Leicester. Obviously that one miss was poor but there were a few key passes he missed with Vardys off ball running.
He’s got great ball control and a cool technique on the pass but seems to missing that little bit of genius and functionality
Vardy was offside because Maddison didn't play the pass in timeIt's not his fault that Vardy was in an offside position in almost all of those attacks.
Would take him as our no 10 right now. So much better than Lingard, Mata and Perrera. Fits in with our young British transfer mindset as well which I agree with is the right way to go to steady the ship and get us moving in the right direction.
I’ve no doubt he would he would be an assist machine for top team.
How much would he cost though, £50-60m?

Leicester it is believed wanted 60m this summer.Would take him as our no 10 right now. So much better than Lingard, Mata and Perrera. Fits in with our young British transfer mindset as well which I agree with is the right way to go to steady the ship and get us moving in the right direction.

great just what we all need another summer where you spend all of it trying to negotiate with us then just pay us what we wanted in the first place in the last week or soI'm almost certain Solksjaer will target him next.....
Maddison was never going to leave this summerLeicester it is believed wanted 60m this summer.

if Choudhury was a number 10 or attacking Cm maybe but your analogy falls flat there. Then you cant replace him and claim Choudhury is better anyway .

But as many of our fans said, we had already signed Maguire's replacement, Soyuncu has slotted in nicely
you should have gone with Barnes or Tielemans, poor effort must do betterDon’t ruin the joke .

still a closer fit than Hamza and currently Maddison is playing left of a 4231I was going to use Barnes but I thought he was a winger .
Only watched the first half and thought he was poor, so must have been pretty great during 2nd with all the accolades.

He'll have replace NDidi by the end of next season, he's far better on the ball but can do all the defensive work tooFair enough. Anyway, I think Hamza is a good player.
This.
People are just too desperate to get someone in to replace Lingard.
To be fair, Jesse Lingard (good squad option he might be) doesnt have the quality that would frighten the very best. Would Klopp/ Pep consider putting him in their 1st elevens?
Angel Gomes. That is all.
