Good free kick.
Nice to see that he's being trusted with the freekick despite being on loan and so new to the clubJust hit the bar with a free kick

Assist for him today and looks like he did well, Watford won 3-2.
Finally looking settle and delivering. Not looking like boy in men game anymore. Keep working hard James.

Moves like this are great character builders for talented players. Hope he comes back improved and confident in himself
The commentator who is David Stowell who works for MUTV mentioned him playing more of a deeper role, that is where I see him.Played mainly as an attacking midfielder behind Deeny. Interesting to see Troy talking and pointing to Garner where he should be running etc.
Watford were poor in the first half. They were playing a direct long ball to Troy Deeney game (not very well might i add) with the hope his teammates would get the knockdowns.
In result Garner barely got on the ball.
Sarr had the only half decent chance in the first half
The second half was better from them. Got the ball down and played on the front foot. Squeezed up a bit. The pressure resulting in them gaining a penalty and a Brentford player sent off.
10 men Brentford pulled a goal back with a penalty in the 63rd minute
Garner came off on the 72nd minute

Glad he is getting game time. Too many of our kids in the past go out on loan and warm the bench. Maybe we are choosing the right options for them now.yeah he's been playing most of his young career as a DM and CM. Thats where I think he'll end up
Last night he played a more advanced role which was really interesting.
I'm interested in hearing Watford's manager Ivic reasoning for this...
Hope Garner uses this as another learning experience..
All part of the boy's development process etc
Hes on loan at Watford...Thought he might be in the extend squad for Leeds game given his performances, any ideas when we might start seeing him more often? League cup seems like a good place to start him.

Don't drink and post!
Or he needs a better club than Watford.I checked their last game forum discussion, lot of the fans unhappy with his style. Moaning about him tends to come deep asking for the ball so he can pass it back to centre back which useless they said. I stopped watching watford months ago since they played boring but based on the forum discussion I just read, he needs to play more risky and purpose.

How many games did he play in total already during this spell?yes as always has been the case he needs to exert himself in games, be more assertive etc...
But at least he is getting games. this loan spell is a learning process for him
ultimately what we want is for him to come back a better player and person...and he's not going to get anything if he's sat on the bench..
It’s his, he can call it what he likes ha haThat's a great first professional goal!!! Technically it's a volley, right?
