Jadon Sancho| Staying at Dortmund for now

Romano got this so wrong on the wages and personal agreement.

We’ve clearly briefed there’s a breakthrough on specifically those things and he’s been saying for months that was all agreed.
To be honest personal terms weren’t a problem. It was only the agent fees. Romano never mentioned agent fees were done. Only that his salary was agreed between MUFC and him.

We know the price they want and are still talking to Sancho that surely indicates we're going to pay up.

Exactly. He's full of shit but the muppets lap it up.

About 6 credible journalists all at same time roughly come out with breakthrough news. Clearly it wasnt agreed ages ago at all.

Why bother negotiating and reaching an agreement over salary + agent fee if United think they can't afford the transfer fee? Done dealio.

Done deal. That’s definitely come from United. Would look terrible if it fell apart now.
My thoughts too exactly. There's no backing out at this point now with all these briefings. I'm actually surprised how United can direct/brief the press to put out their words so easily.

UK based journo's have claimed that Dormunds asking fee hasn't been an issue for the club for weeks now, that it was agent/personal fees holding things up.

Now that that's apparently been sorted, an official bid will likely be made with the intention of having it accepted

Yes. The fee has to have been more or less agreed if agent fees were the isue. It"s not long now. Never in doubt.

Finally lads! This is going to happen eventually. I said the fee will be agreed by this Friday and i stand by it. Better the sooner of course!

It was a good two months stay in here posting all sorts and i’ll miss all my fellow muppets in here. On to the next muppet thread soon!

I have a fully hard on thinking about Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, Bruno, Pogba and Sancho linking up. 21 is coming home.

The story about the bonus payment and rise in stock price seems to hold some credibility now. Ironic how this agent/sancho "breakthrough" has suddenly happened after Sancho has fulfilled the bonus payment criteria with England. Utd maybe respected his agents request to hold fire.

If you google Jadon Sancho, and filter on 'last hour' every English new outlet is reporting the exact same story. Briefed!

Nothing in Germany though.

Sky Sports Transfer show is on at 7pm where they are going to be discussing the new updates.

Could he come in next season and do that role for us?

he’s still young but he’s the absolute best prospect out there in the position. He’s bossed it against PSG in the league at 16 and his quality stands out. He’s a full French international at 17 and when you think about who he’s up against there and they are still bringing him along... he’s a super talent. He won’t be cheap and it also looks like he wants Madrid so I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

The only time when news that are going to be reported in Germany is when United have agreed a fee with BVB. Sancho agreeing personal terms and agent fees with us have really nothing to do with them to be honest

The next thing that will come out of German sources will be something like "Dortmund has received NO OFFER and the transfer window is nearing it's end. United have to convince Dortmund because they left it too late to get replacements in, deal looks unlikely" etc. in order to do some face saving service for Dortmund.

Is that you, Jan?! ;)

A few of you really do not like Romano at all
I'm finding the hate towards him strange. He's virtually always nailed on from what I've seen. Even this doesn't prove he was wrong. I genuinely believe the agent fees and wages weren't actually a problem. I think its a brief put out by Utd possibly due to Sancho's/agents request with regards to the loyalty bonus payment which was related to him making these 2 England appearances.
