I still laugh directly in the face of people arguing he’s not worth what they want. He clearly is.
We seem to certainly think so. Do the club feel the same though

He is worth that, but there is no club around that can pay the majority of that up front. If Liverpool can't pay €30m up front, what hope do other teams without sugar daddies have. By all accounts even Chelsea sacked him off because they couldn't afford him at that price. If course he is. His price is already discounted compared to what they got for Dembele. We're talking one of the biggest talents in the world, he is worth what they want.
120 mln € is a discount, its 107 mln £,Dortmund just needs to give us a "Corona Discount" on Sancho and stop playing these games.
120 million euros is a bit over the top, he will be a Dortmund player for the rest of him life if they don't come down a little bit.
It's not on him to call it off. Ed probably told Sancho and his agents that they're still working on it. Whether he did it out of honesty or just to have a smokescreen for other negotiations, that we don't know
Of course it's not up to him but he's surely in conversations with both clubs over the potential move. If he genuinely believed Dortmund will not sell this summer now the deadline has passed, I'd expect his comments to be very different.
Feel like it’s so rare a talent like Sancho comes along AND we end up front of the queue. Losing out would be a big blow. Understand the club want to get value in the COVID climate, but if we don’t get him in a few years time are we going to look back and think we missed out and a chance to close the gap? If he’s the generational talent most think he is, the money ends up falling away as a concern.
Be different to what? The comment I remember is something like "I love playing with these youngsters, I want to teach them".
Unfortunately I think we all just need to accept this is over for the summer. United won't pay the fee Dortmund have in mind for Sancho and they have made it clear he's not going anywhere this summer.
Dortmund are a club that generally stands by its word. They will know they can get the same fee next summer so why accept a lower bid from United when you haven't got a replacement in mind.
Next summer could see a number of clubs willing to do business so they could command the fee they originally set for him. Maybe even more if he has a good season.
I’m here till the bitter end. Might as well take the full storm of disappointment now, I’ve been all in from the start. The muppets are dropping like flies. I'm still not giving up on this.
Depends really. Have they already lined up a replacement? Will that replacement be available next year? How are their finances? Will 100m be worth more in the market this year than next? Do they have a youth player who can make the step up? There’s a lot of nuances to consider.Unfortunately I think we all just need to accept this is over for the summer. Could well be, in that situation both clubs wouldn’t confirm that to any journo’s either (in order to retain that appearance to selling clubs.)I personally think the deal has already been done, both clubs are now securing their other targets without anyone thinking we're both laden with dough.

It's damage limitation. His paltry apologies is not going to mean anything now. Sancho to United is written in Stone
What happened a week ago?Credit to people’s optimism in this thread they think this deal is still on. It’s been dead for over a week now as far as I’m concerned.

What was it ?
Sancho’s cousin posted implying he was heading to UnitedWhat was the instagram post?
That kit doesn't even look close to a United kit.
I see.Sancho’s cousin posted implying he was heading to United
A picture of Sancho holding his signature boot with a blue nike jersey, with "poppin 24hours" sponsor on the chest. What was the instagram post?
Only answer yes. See here:He (mcfox) just put his Instagram account in private mode, he’s been reprimanded for leaking transfer info me thinks.
Different to this:
'I try not to look at the media because I think once you start looking at all that it would be easy to get carried away with it,' Sancho told Soccerbible, at the launch event of his personalised Nike collection.
'It can affect players. For me it’s about not looking at those things and just focusing on trying to do the best I can on the pitch. Especially in training.
'For me it’s about improving every single day. It’s important for me to keep a smile on my face and keep happy.
'I don’t really look at all the noise and all that stuff. I’d rather keep my head down, keep focus and improve every day.'
