what's that got to do with anything? you want a player, you pay the fee
If you think it's that easy when you talking 100m plus, then theres not much more to say.

I am not saying the deal won't get done. I'd just like to get things done early for once, especially given that there is no "long summer" break between seasons. We need players in as soon as possible so they can start to train with the squad (not everyone can do what Bruno did). Also, as I said, Dortmund have put a time on this deal to be done... or are all of you saying that Woodward's track record is good?
I pity people who just trust others blindlyThe window has only just opened, he'll be signed early this month. How is that not "done early"? Whinge whinge whinge. We're signing Sancho. I pity you being so miserable.
If De Gea asked for a new deal I think they would sell him. He isn't performing well enough or consistently enough. Agree Greenwood will get another deal if he continues at this rate, but Sancho is further along with his development so deserves more money."Forwards Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood and goalkeeper David de Gea have all signed new deals in the past 13 months, and United would not want to put themselves into a position where they have to revisit them."
Does Stone really have the inside story or is he trying to spoil the fun. I don't know how much Sancho is after, but even if he was asking for a Messi-type contract, de Gea would not be asking for an improved deal given what he's earning. Greenwood is surely in line to get a bumper new deal if he hasn't already, and it wouldn't surprise me if it were similar to Shaw and Lingard's contracts, but merited.
I doubt Stone is sniffing in the right places.
I never said it was easy but either we want him and pay the fee or we don't - and Woodward's track record is not great. If so many people disagree, why do so many here (rightly) want a DoFIf you think it's that easy when you talking 100m plus, then theres not much more to say.
How does that negate what I said? I wasn't saying he wasn't going to sign but the same sources calling the deal are the sources who are saying agreement for Sancho is close, which show you up for spouting shit.Torres signed... I'll take apologies in the form or jelly babies
Agreed. Oh that day we signed Eric, catching the world unawaresH.O.L.Y. fecking shit this is tiresome. G.R.R. Martin might actually finish Winds of Winter before our transfer targets are secured. It's the same year after year. You know via the ITKs in the media, if we are really interested in a player, then you add two months of negotiating and then he's ours. It all makes sense taking our sweet time, getting the best and cheapest deal possible, but by god it kills the excitement for me.
Loved the feeling as a kid, just woken, finding out via Teletext or the newspaper, that United signed somebody out of the blue.
Anyways, we need this kid to smoothly replace Sanchez in the song, and Ed knows it.

I'm not having a pop but I think most of Pogba's detractors are in the same boat. They never watched him enough for Juve and had a mad idea of the player they were getting. For me he's lived up to what I expected, but I watched a lot of him playing in that Juve side and have many games like he has for us. I think Youtube compilations have a lot to blame for why Pogba is regarded as such a disappointment. He's never been the star game changing man really which is what people thought they were getting, more a brilliant cog in a well oiled machine. Hopefully next season he can be that for us, now that we actually look to be building a machine and not a load of spare parts thrown together.
didn't you say City has not signed anyone? How does that negate what I said? I wasn't saying he wasn't going to sign but the same sources calling the deal are the sources who are saying agreement for Sancho is close, which show you up for spouting shit.
So trueIf you want a signing to be out of the blue, get out of the transfer forum and stay off social media. It's literally as simple as that.
True... I did delete all SOME, but this place is my fireplace in the stormy snow, so I can't do that to myself. If you want a signing to be out of the blue, get out of the transfer forum and stay off social media. It's literally as simple as that.

It's incredible how some United fans just can't learn the lessons of the last few years. Packing the team with "can do a job" players is a distinctly inferior strategy compared to actually getting in real top quality. We should know this by now, after years of relying on the likes of Lingard and Fellaini. If I had the choice of choosing only one of the below 2 Options, I would 100 percent choose option 2.
1 - sign sancho for £100 million
2 - sign Zaha and grealish for £100 million
Grealish can play 4-5 attacking positions to a very high level and Zaha is a brilliant winger and soon to be 28. I’d do this and sign sancho next year.
Assuming and hoping the Jiminez( £30 million) rumours are true, we would be very well placed.
Our back 5 picks itself and I’d say that’s 5 first teamers there and there replacements I wouldn’t call first teamers (players who should be starting.) Then in midfield and attack we would have around 11 (12 next year with sancho) first teamers.
Matic, Fred, Mctominay, Pogba, Grealish, Zaha, Jiminez, Martial, Rashford, Greeenwood, Bruno, (Sancho).
16-17 first team ready players with the right age blend which is what all teams need in the modern game. Zaha and Jiminez Will be 29 & 30 when sancho signs giving us a balanced but potent squad.

I don't think there's any combination of players available for a combined cost of £100 million that i would choose over Sancho. His age, his current ability and his potential just make him an ideal signing for any club but especially for united with a gaping hole on the right wing.If I had the choice of choosing only one of the below 2 Options, I would 100 percent choose option 2.

I think people rate zaha because arsenal tried to buy him last year. He would the perfect moyes signing.
Sancho is a one time opportunity that will change things for real and in the future make us title challengers again.

But it doesn't work, selling clubs are not that stupid. You mean, why try to lower the price? Crazy, right?
Off topic but I don't agree with than in regards to Grealish. I don't think it'd take him long to become our best midfielder if signed. It makes even less sense when you consider the fact that we already have pretty good starters and that signing the far superior Sancho will push a pretty good player on the bench. Signing Sancho improves our depth and the ceiling of our attack, we don't need to imperatively add an expensive player for our bench which is exactly what would happen with the likes of Zaha and Grealish.
Calm down ... He disagrees with your opinion of who we sign, so what? Can't believe in 2020 in a thread about us being days away from signing Sancho there's people actually positive about us signing some of the level of Wilfred Zaha. Seriously, go support another team.
You're having a laugh if you think Grealish would become our best midfielder. He'd be a fantastic squad option though.Off topic but I don't agree with than in regards to Grealish. I don't think it'd take him long to become our best midfielder if signed.
I'm very confident he would. He's more talented than Bruno, and his consistency gives him the edge over Pogba who is more talented. You're having a laugh if you think Grealish would become our best midfielder. He'd be a fantastic squad option though.
Yeah I asked the same last night, don’t see the point.
Purely talking about wages here, not the agreeing transfer fees partGo back 5 or 6 pages and there is load of links where it was the same for those transfers.
there were ones for AWB as well somewhere in the previous pages
