This Sancho thing is going to drag out all summer isnt it
What say we throw in Sanchez as part of a swap deal? Could be one his greatest assists ever for Manchester United too.Man Utd face £100m Jadon Sancho fee — but Dortmund eye England pal as successor
There was one player they sold with a clause something like that (not sure if it would hold up in court). Not Sancho though.I've read that city are putting in clauses when they sell a player that they player can't be sold on to united and if tge club does they have to pay city 40% - is this media bollocks?
It probably won't hold up in court but we aren't going to go through the hassle of testing it .There was one player they sold with a clause something like that (not sure if it would hold up in court). Not Sancho though.
Looking at precedence, it's not hard to believe. He's better than Pulisic with a longer contract but not as good as Dembele.I doubt that number but I'm running over to pay that if true.
People want another Rooney-esque signing for us, that's all. This gives the same feeling as when Fergie signed the brightest English talent Rooney back then.Genuine question, is this kid really all that? I see many posters saying we must go for him, then many also saying the likes of Lozano etc are not good enough for us. Just curious as only watched him a few times and wondering is the fact he is English helping with the hype?

He is also very young and plays in a position in which we are the weakest. What's there to prevent muppet juice flowing?
We bought the shit ones. The good ones ended up at Bayern.Ourselves and Dortmund players don't have a good track record. If we do sign him, I hope he continues to peak.
He's currently the world leading assister tied with Lionel Messi, at 18 years old. I'd say he's alright.Genuine question, is this kid really all that? For sure, the fact we may finally get a right sided attacker is getting me excited. Just hope if we do spend big on him he is ready to perform for us and not someone we must wait for to adapt due to age, the price tag, being English and playing for United etc. Would rather buy an experienced and ready player if that is the case.

It's not only that though, his speed and agility are fantastic. He's 1 of the best dribblers in the world due to that. He's very similar to Hazard in style, he just has that X factor.
There's never any guarantees. Not even with experienced players (Sanchez).

Get rid of Sanchez and bring in Lozano, I'd take that inn a heartbeatSancho plays a role for Dortmund very much Lingard does for us currently. Off the right, drifts centrally and is a great creator of chances so he would in our current style like a dream. He's English and could give us his whole career if we get him early. He is in my opinion the best teenager in the world and his ceiling could be huge. He's the real deal.
Lozano is someone I would take in a heart beat. Not sure why other posters have said he's not good enough?. Maybe they are comparing him to Sancho which is wrong as they are slightly different players at different stages of their careers. Lozano is more direct and is quick. He wants to be running in behind the defence, but recently has added more to his game. He's a great passer and does so at the right times now.
Imo we only have rashford and maybe Lingard who make runs in behind the defence. It's one part of Martials game that is missing, Lukaku has done it at other clubs but does it less so with us. Having Lozano would give us something else. Something other teams have in abundance, Sterling and Sane for instance. We have no wingers that look to make those runs and we need to add that to our game. Sancho and Lozano both coming in for Sanchez and Mata? Yes please!!

"..despite Dortmund’s public stance that the 18-year-old is not for sale at any price – a bid in excess of £80m is expected to be enough to lure him to Old Trafford..'
You have 100 million to pay? Rich fellow.I doubt that number but I'm running over to pay that if true.
Lozano hasn't looked anything special for the limited viewings I've seen of him. Sancho looks genuinely special. Both would be overkill. Also, didn't lozano play on the left at the WC?I like Lozano and felt he did well at the World cup so I would also welcome him. Both would be awesome and not unnecessary in my opinion. I really hope we see the likes of Mata and Sanchez leave in the summer and I also feel Lingard is only good enough as a bench option if we want to challenge big. As you touched on with City they have an abundance of talent to call on based on their playing style and a big reason why when they click they can score for fun, I'd like us to get that consistency to our squad and team play.
The good German one's end up at Bayern. We bought the shit ones. The good ones ended up at Bayern.
I'm not sure we need him to be world class, but he's a hard worker who runs constantly. It's the sort of wide player we used to love signing, I can see why Solskjaer would like him.Lozano hasn't looked anything special for the limited viewings I've seen of him. We absolutely need players to be of a high quality. Enough signings meant to be squad players. We have a hard worker who runs hard like Lingard. Time for genuine technical talent.I'm not sure we need him to be world class, but he's a hard worker who runs constantly. If we're looking at him for a bench/rotation slot there isn't many better 2nd fiddles.
We have to be realistic. We aren't signing 7 players this summer. Two wingers would most likely be too much. I'd rather get a winger and a 10/CF/playmaking wide forward. But I suppose one can't complain about quality additions (if they are that) in an area we need bolstering. He floated a bit for Mexico if I recall but yes mostly there but he is just as comfortable on the right by all accounts. I have seen more than him than Sancho but still not a great deal and he has impressed for the most part. Maybe the two is overkill but options are needed and the fact for me Lingard is not that special I would prefer to have better options on both sides or for an interchanging front three.
