Aye, everyone would have felt much safer in the world if he’d inly had a mask on in his pic.
The sentiment of caring about COVID is fine, however, this is a nothingness. I’m almost certain that pretty much everyone, including yourself, have not been wearing a fecking mask indoors during any visitation with friends and family for 3 months.
So I get why you're being snarky but I happen to know a few things about the spread of viral infections.
Firstly, The mask does not stop you from being infected, that's a common "logical" misconception.
A virus spread by riding along on microscopic particles or even bacteria that gets expelled with every breath. Having a mask on limits the amount of virus that can escape, as well as limits your own exposure. But airborne particlesa are not the main culprit, and this is where why its stupid get get a on-call hairdresser to drop by when the entire league depends on no one getting infected:
Every single time you touch sometime, your nose, an item, a doorhandle, you deposit bacteria and if you're infected, more often than not, a colony of virus as well on the surface. The next time you touch your face, and people touch their faces over 16 times per hour on average. A handshake, the scissors having been in contact with someone who's infected and now happily clipping away near your face, poor hygiene from the hairdresser. It takes so wildly little to spread something as eagerly to infect as this particular strain of virus.
THAT is the reason you do not invite fkn hairdresser to your home when you are responsible for not getting infected. MOST PEOPLE are just fine. But hundreds of thousands globally are not, as they are dead.
In Norway we havent really worn facemasks at all. We have however, closed public gathering spots, services and the like (with pay), during the outbreak until the R=N got below 0, as to control the rate of the outbreak. I get that it's a nothingburger, but this principle doesnt work if people don't give a sh*t and just go "OH ITS FIIIINE". Social distancing, not touching your face, and washing your hands in soapy water helps. The more soap bubbles the better. The soap actually pierces the membrane protecting the virus, effectively killing it. Antibac only kills bacteria, but it also washes away virus that are attached to the bacterial celllwall.
The point is: Just fkn cut your own hair.
