Jadon Sancho| Staying at Dortmund for now

Top rated young players go to Dortmund to get first football and world class coaching. They go there to develop themselves knowing that within 2-3 seasons they can make the move to an elite club.

Dortmund have thrived on this buy cheap, develop and then sell for huge profits business plan.

If Dortmund start making it almost impossible for these youngsters to leave Then agents are not going to want their players to go there without buyout clauses being inserted into their contracts.

Dortmund have every right to value their players to whatever figure they want. But players that see Dortmund as a stepping stone are going to be far more unlikely to sign for them in the future If their selling demands are unreasonable (full payment upfront on a >€100 million transfer during a pandemic).

Solid reasoning. Unlikely Jadon left City to pursue his dream club Dortmund. Surely he wants to eventually move to a club with a massive fan base.

Good, had been reported earlier in the window that he had an agreement over them allowing him to leave if a good offer came in. 100m in these circumstances is just that.

Now the convenient illness before a Der Klassiker sounds all the more suspicious timing wise

Remember when Sanchos bonus from Dortmund was the hold up in the deal, or when we made 'progression' with the agent fees and wages, fun times.
Let’s not forget Dortmund’s “bemusement” to Utd’s approach and also Utd being very very very relaxed about our transfer activity. :D

My favourite has to be Dortmund being bemused with our approach after already stating he’s staying.

A Sancho holding a pen, with the boat that's on the United badge in the background. If this isn't ON then I don't know what is.
The boat is also travels from right (East, Dortmund) to left (West, Manchester), there cannot be any clearer indication that he’s coming!

Here we go with the "player unhappy" , "disillusioned" , "wants to go home" talk. Whether Dortmund actually let him go is another thing entirely though at this late stage.

Supposedly a Dortmund mouthpiece (think Dortmund follow him)

The guy doesn't write for single german outlet. How's he a Dortmund mouthpiece?
These guys will keep milking your desire for that transfer until the window closes

I am confused...

Sancho isn't happy:

a) in Dortmund
b) how Borussia is acting and blocking his move
c) how United were monitoring him, approching and how long it takes to prepare a bid ?
d) about The weather

Whatever it is that journalists later could say he was right.

I'm shocked.

A guy who has walked on two clubs already wants to leave again.

Time for Dortmund and their shills to start spinning that he isnt that good and we have overpaid.

This one is happening.

To summarize:
  • Solskjær and Sancho have talked together several times. No later than this week.
  • Sancho is United's first choice.
  • Sancho wants to join United and is pushing for a transfer.
  • Dortmund willing to sell if they get the money they want.

Of course he's not happy. He has a mystery respiratory infection... NOT CORONAVIRUS THAT WOULD STOP HIM MOVING CLUBS THOUGH.. Just a really vague illness.. Poor guy.

I expect an official statement from Thorgan Hazard to say that he's happy Sancho is staying shortly.

Translation:

To summarize:
- Solskjær and Sancho have talked several times, as late as this week.
- Sancho is United's first choice.
- Sancho wants United and is pushing for a transfer.
- Dortmund is willing to sell if they get the money they want.

All of this means feck all if we will not offer the money. Our bid was a £75m + £25m. No chance they will accept that.

Ole was confident we would get Haaland but we saw what happened. Our incompetent board is to blame if deal falls through.

This guy's just a WUM who knows nothing, it was proved time and time again this window.

Another ’Dortmund will only accept an offer of 120m for Sancho’ tweet in 3...2...1...

this came out of the blue. Had we been linked to this guy previously?

Him never actually coming out and confirming his future with Dortmund as everyone at the club from the directors, teammates and canteen ladies were saying he's staying looks awfully telling and a lot like Neymar being radio silent as all his teammates talked up him staying for weeks before he left

Whats this supposed to be?

Dortmund said on twitter "you love to see it" when Sancho started his first training of the new season and after the supposed United Deadline to sign him expired.

They were taunting us.

Now Rashford has just said that...has he confirmed SanchON...Here We Go!
