What is the largest thread size for a player that didn’t eventually sign?

Some of the Muppets on here were more interested in the race to reach and post on the 1 000th page of the Sancho saga ... The whole thread of which consists mostly of complete nonsense and made up BS from ITK's along with the usual 'covering all bases' Journos.. some of whom are made out to be Transfer Demigods.

Just can't see this happening now. The club have betrayed Ole this window and really demonstrated their ambition (or lack there of).

Their deadline wasn`t actually a thing if it was we`d have walked the moment it "ended" it was a normal tactic to try to get us to complete the deal quickly to get a replacement but deals of such a magnitude always take time the only real deadline is October 5th. All the reported players they had as replacements are still on the market so as long as we pay up they can and will sell provided Sancho also pushes for a move(Rashica, Boga, Zaha, Memphis whom a deal with Barca is not imminent at all)
And do you really think Utd will go through ALL THAT WORK to agree personal terms for months and months just to all of a sudden say "Yeah we wont bid" of course we`ll launch one my fair guess is this week with our season about to start from there lets judge
See this is what I mean... You're in for some heart break. Guess you haven't paid attention to how we've conducted our transfer business since Woodward took over.

Someone should tweet Sancho and tell him that his RedCafe Transfer thread has reached 1000 pages  . Guilt him into handing a transfer request.

 Oh shit. Pathetic desperate people wanting to post on page 1k screwed me there.
Same here. Can a mod delete some of the posts? Obviously none of the worthwhile ones about hitting 1000 pages. I’m talking more about the pointless ones where people dare speculate that Sancho might not sign. I’ve been robbed!

or maybe, the Club could be saving the money for Mbappe instead? Mbappe would become the biggest star in sport by signing with Man Utd(over any other club). The Man Utd following is just bigger than any other club

Going to be extra embarrassing when we break the Pogba thread record and he doesn't even sign

It's a lot of money, but how could we not have known what Sancho's valuation would be if we have been monitoring closely since he was 17...?
Players of that standing, such as Mbappe, Felix and Dembele have been sold for more, so a Covid discount has already been factored in.
We paid £80M for Maguire but baulk at the asking price for Sancho?
The British media were saying Sancho's wage demands are too high, yet De Gea & Pogba are on £350k per week, and Sanchez was on £500k per week, so what on Earth was Sancho demanding..??

And even if you throw a Covid world into the mix, that shouldn't really be such an issue, because we should have already had a sufficient transfer budget to cover both Sancho and Van De Beek, at €160m for the pair.
Or are we admitting that our Summer transfer budget was less than £150M, if so, what ever happened to the Lukaku money, was that the funding for Maguire?

Solskjaer recently confirmed that signing Bruno would impact the Summer funds, but why?
If the Lukaku money didn't cover Maguire, then it should have paid for Bruno, either way, we should still have £150M for this Summer.

And personally, I do't think there is any chance next year of getting Sancho, this is our perfect window of opportunity.
Next Summer he is likely to cost even more than €120m and will have more offers on the table from the likes of Barcelona and Madrid, possibly Liverpool too if one of Salah or Mane are sold on, plus there is no guarantee that United will even be able to offer Champions League football next year...?!?

I've said before other clubs will be in for Sancho next year and it could benefit Sancho to see what his options are but no-one knows so there's a possibility United could come in again if the virus outlook is much better.

We may also be waiting on our own sales and it doesn't look good so far. Haven't we spent around 70-80m net each year? United may have been willing to splash the cash before covid.

We may still pay up, I don't think we'll have a better chance, the longer he's abroad the less homesick and time to be tempted by a huge salary in Spain or even France.

Or they are struggling to get Sancho replacement? The rumour was that it was supposed to be Memphis but it seems that nothing has really happened.
Lyon are a wealthy club though IIRC? Sure they can match the wages of BD

Can’t believe Sanchez is only 25k. Dybala as well on only 10k

Think those Dybala numbers are quite impressive seeing as that "saga" was bloody short lived, wasn't it? Think it was came out of nowhere and died fairly quickly.
Correct, it came and went in a flash. Sanchez as well, happened fairly quickly.
