How many will take him on his current wage?

Loan move with us covering most of the salary is the most likely outcome

Yep. What a colossal waste of time this has been and there’s still what, 3 years left of his contract?

ETH has defended him in the past and given him infinitely more minutes than his performances ever deserved.

If he's calling him out now, things must be pretty bad.
What did Antony do today?? Don’t defend the madness. We will end up sacking ETH and being lumbered with his shote acquisitions - of you can’t see that coming you are blind.

ETH didn’t have to take it public. Feel like he was deflecting away from the result.

If he feels the player doesn’t have the attitude or desire for Arsenal away ahead of a third choice keeper then there’s obviously something going on

Sancho has absolutely bricked his pants at being called out publicly. Feck him.

Has performed like a joke and has the audacity to put out that statement. There is nothing wrong in what ETH said. He just mentioned he didnt perform to the level he expected so he isnt in the team.

Of course this doesn't end well for Sancho and I haven't been his biggest fan here.

But it's not crazy to think ETH picks a lot of players based on things other than effort or perferomance.

Martial is the laziest player in the world for instance. Antony plays much more than his perferomance warrants. With how he plays you'd think he'd be dropped every second game or so.

So it's not hard to imagine there's a bit of favoritism going on.

I am no Sancho fan but Eth has trashed him a lot in public which isn’t a good idea

The manager gave him half the season off to get his shit together last season.

Two things will occur from this either EtH has done this on purpose to light a fire up his ass or EtH is gonna be pissed and Sancho will never play for the club again and be sold.

This stuff should never be done in public and Jadon is completely out of order here

Players aren't punching bags. If he indeed trained well - and his being lambasted by the manager publicly then I see why he'd want to defend himself.

Something is rotten here, Sancho was twice as good in every game he has played than Martial is

Again we don’t know what was exactly happening at that time. I have no time for Sancho but I don’t think in the modern era you can come out and say stuff like this about a player

Fair response. A manager shouldn't just expect whatever he wants in public without rebuttal.

What? He's literally the manager. Can you imagine someone coming back like that in SAFs days? They'd be out the door the very next day.

Like Jordan Henderson and Alex Telles then

Henderson captained a Liverpool side that won the CL and PL and was a highly visible England international. Telles is a bit of an outlier but he had just won a European trophy and was cheap, there have been a few signings like that: Sancho does not have the accomplishments and he would not be cheap, why would they buy him?

Sell Sancho this week to Saudi League for £30 million. You do not openly come back against your manager.

Is this grounds for contract in disrepute and sacking him like Ronaldo

Has there ever been an instance where a player came out swinging at their manager and it didn't end with them being sold ?

You guys and this “SAF days” feck’s sake

So? As far as I know it's not akin to being a cult leader or a religious figure.

oh great, this is messy

I'm not saying who's right or wrong here, but why did EtH have to say Martial did very well when he was pish :wenger:Doesn't send the right messages to players like Sancho, would he have received that treatment? it's all odd man I'm tired

Without wanting to shit on Sancho too much, obviously not great but that's partially on ten hag. If you have a player do really well in pre season and not get a look in, then it's inevitable that he'll eventually also give up a bit mentally. Just looks like he's not in our plans and that sancho knows it now.
Sancho plays well in preseason is a regular thing. And Sancho not playing well in games in normal seasons is a regular thing for him and United too.

His mentality has always been in question here and in Germany. You have to wonder if that factors in why Pep never considered buying him back. So it is not a one off motivation thing.

What? ETH mentioned why Sancho isnt in the team. Last year Sancho went AWOL for months and ETH defended him. Atleast Sancho should be grateful and blame himself for the situation that he finds himself in

At £350,000 per week ….he’s unsellable

You can add our other two right wingers to this list, albeit for very different and also very similar reasons.

Edit: for varying reasons we’re probably going to have to write off £240m for the right wing spot *vomiting emoji*

I agree that Sancho should do his talking in training and on the pitch but ETH should have left his thoughts behind closed doors in the first place. It was enough to drop him from the squad he didn’t need to call Sancho’s professionalism into question in the media.

That's just not true. He managed an underperforming player really well.

Again we don’t need what was going on behind the scenes, we only got the answer from ETH . He picks his favs and he has this habit of coming out and putting it on the players when we lose. Unfortunately this style of management doesn’t work in 2023

Man, some of you guys live a pathetic life. Do you guys walk around simping around any authority figure in your life?

I heard that apparently Rio brought up on a video on his YouTube channel that a similar thing happened with Ronaldo, and that he also felt the manager was "scapegoating" him. Either way, this isn't a great look regardless. A manager has to have a grip on their team, and handle things appropriately behind closed doors.

He saw Ronaldo get booted out after going against the manager. Does he think he's different? If he stupid?
