Big fan of his and think he’ll be a big player for us in the future but yes, today was a shit show if we’re being honest..he looked like he was as pissed as I am now after a few too many wines and sherbets. Dreadful performance but the team as a whole just looked listless.. there is something seriously rotten within the heart of our club and to be honest I’m thinking why would any manager want to take this job on.. sad times

I'm gonna go a bit against the grain and say I thought he was decent today. I kept imagining him in that City artup alongside Fred. They would have been spectacular.

Really underwhelming big money, huge hype signing so far.
I thought he’d be amazing, in reality Mikhi had a better first season.
Mikhi's season here is hugely underestimated. Some say that he was a flop.
Guy was our main player in Uefa league. Which we won and secured CL. 35 mil for trophy and CL spot. That is good return.
Regarding Sancho; he will be great next season.

In what world was he decent? Gave away the ball carelessly in dangerous areas of the pitch and even played a key pass for Iheanacho to have a 1v1 with De Gea

. In his actual team’s attack, he offered 0.

Already in holiday mood. He is so casual in his approach in most of the games.

Said it before, will say it again we needed a winger like a Coman, a Sane, a Raphinha. He is like a slightly more mobile version of mata playing on the wings. Never ever liked such sort of players as wingers. Doesn’t do it for me. Always liked wingers who are fast, tricky, unpredictable and can cut in or go wide. He is a good footballer but he is neither of those things. He is very easy to stop. The end result is he will be very up and down in his performances.

Traore

This, playing a dominant team with one of the world's best striker who is double marked, all he did was on transition wait for Halaands overlap and he gets an assist.
He also lit it up playing with Paco Alcacer and whoever else he's played with.

Sancho is a terrific player, a world class prospect, set records as an under 20 player in big European leagues, and will be fine. Having some bad games sometimes, shit happens. Especially when the whole team is a disaster.

The most intelligent attacking player we have. Shit today though, but we'll never ever get the best out of him playing like we are. Look at how Dortmund attack versus how we attack. It's like chalk and cheese.

Surprise surprise. I didn't watch the match but apparently he did not play well. Even if he did, there have been games prior where he hasn't been his best.

It's not even his fault, the same thing happened to Kagawa, Pogba, Sanchez, Anderson, etc. Utd simply don't have the culture to accommodate flair players. Don't expect things to change when it doesn't exist as a habit at the club already. The last time it happened was 2008 when Quieroz was there to guide the team to be tactically good too.

Rangnick + appropriately paid youth players + time for RR to affect the club's mindset at every level = possibility of success. Let's hope ETH can do that for us

Rubbish performance, next season is a big season for him. He's been decent after Christmas but not as good as some have claimed. I've been a big supporter of him on here and really want us to get the best out of him but have to rate every player fairly and he needs to do better.

Looks a central player to me.

He's a good player, might be great.

But showing up pudgy and taking 6 months to play is pretty shocking.

Very young and a different league though.

I'm sorry I expected alot. It's just that he put up numbers similar to Messi and the club chased him for 2 summers and then pay 70 million.

Again the club's fault. Even looking at his stats I knew he wouldn't be the answer to our right side. And after a few games itnwas obvious he'd never hug a touchline in England. These wingers require high level pace amd athleticism.

He is like the Spanish Silva at city. A central player who can start wide and use his intelligence and technique to play 1,2s and make nice runs.

Not his fault, well he should have shown up in better shape but he's been let down by the club and management.

Let's hope just just one of those odd games, than Nani's hot and and cold streak. If Sancho can play consistent at good level and having too many bad games like this in him, we basically need a whole new squad

Regardless of whether you like those kinds of players, there’s plenty of examples in elite players in that role over the years, so this idea that they’re particularly prone to being up and down in their performances doesn’t really hold. If anything, traditional wingers are the most likely to blow hot and cold. Sack Fergie, sell Giggs was a meme for a reason. FFS Giggs was one of the buzzwords in OT.

Can't believe anyone thinks he had a good game. He was sh*t, ruined some counterattacks with his dire decision making and almost assisted Iheanacho to lose the game with a Gerrardesque backpass.

As a winger, he should be creating much more than he did. There was only one occasion where he took his man on the outside and put in a cross. Apart from that, he was just playing safe and laying the ball back off to Shaw/Telles/Fred. Martin O'Neill was saying he could have done that too and he's correct. I doubt any EPL fullback is afraid of him taking them on tbh and rightly so.

He has shown a lot of promise in the last 6 weeks. However he needs to come into next season ready to go, with something to prove, in shape. Not just for Utd but if he wants to make the world cup. Sancho not making that squad might be the wake up call he needs to get his preparation right.

For being so quick and technically good, it is strange to see him often stop or slow down our attack.

Poor yesterday. I think that he's a player that benefits more than most from players around him clicking and playing well and being on his wavelength. That's not to excuse what was a poor performance but the way he plays he's more reliant than most on quick thinking, sharp give and go interplay.

Bullshit. Sancho has shown he's anything but a flair player. Under Ole, the players were given freedom to do whatever they wanted, we had Bruno, who IS a flair player, succeed where Sancho and Pogba did not. Sancho plays it safe and doesn't ever try to be that tricky winger that beats a man with skill and...flair.

He's a little bit slow isn't he and it's frustrating because he has every other skill you want to see in an elite winger. If he had pace he'd be tearing up the league.

He's a more technical Depay basically.

Nani used to get so much abuse from our fans, and he was much more consistent than Sancho and pretty much anyone in our squad.

Nani was as inconsistent as Pogba. It's just that the rest of the team wasn't at the same time, so it wasn't as much of an issue

I disagree with that. Nani would perform in 1 out of every 3 games. Pogba, I don't even know anymore, 1 in 7?

Was poor yesterday and seemed to be lacking in confidence which is quite surprising as he's been one of our better players over the last few months.

I wonder if being dropped by England has knocked his confidence again. Hopefully not and this was just a poor day at the office.

.

Chased him for two summers and the output isn’t good enough. His form picking up is a plus but it’s another signing that I don’t think the club put much thought in. Surely they could tell he isn’t the quickest or isn’t the sort of winger we need.

Our scouting department needs an overhaul.

Really wish we could find out how he spent the two week break. He clearly wasn't working on improving his fitness. He was spent by the 60th minute, and before that he wasn't exactly tearing around the pitch either.

He has obvious quality and obvious skill. But he could very easily turn into a bust if he doesn't work. I have no actual insight to his training or his diet or his motivation, etc. But he fails the eye test miserably. And he needs to do better.

He was poor against Leicester, looked slow and off the pace, far too negative on the ball ...he will benefit from ETH coming in massively....but he needs to get fitter and play with confidence..

He needs a serious training plan to increase his strength, speed and agility. He might be the most lightweight player I've ever seen play for us, even more than Kagawa. He's got serious talent but I think he won't fulfill it if he doesn't improve physically.

I remember Wijnaldum being very soft but Klopp eventually got him right physically and he flourished. I'm hoping Sancho can do something similar.

The club should loan him back to Dortmund, maybe that could re-boot his confidence and reignite his passion for football. Because on current showing his performance is actually deteriorating.

Maybe you can loan him to Bayern? With a moderate option to buy? Thanks.

Who’s his agent? How we’re paying him that much I’ll never know. His simply okay. Nani was better.

Had a poor match yesterday, as did Elanga who was probably worse, and a lot of that was attributed to Leicester's setup with high work rate wingbacks. Fred got a lot of action down the left channel while Sancho was going up and down with Justin.

Lots of overreactions from the match, per usual, but it was another tough day for wide players against a team with wingbacks and a back 3, while only utilizing a central midfield two in front of a center back pairing.

Honestly think hes been excellent throughout the season and is precisely what we needed. Last 2 games were weak but find the general discussion around him kind of mystifying. Maybe its the lack of highlights reel of him banging in goals from 30 yards or dribbling past 4 players in a tiny space, the kind of shit that comes off one in a hundred times and Rashford and so on provide more than we need of. Him just passing and moving and stringing half a dozen simple passes around is overlooked and people are looking for him to take on players more often, shoot more, score more. His decision making is actually good and my only worry is that we grind that out of him in favour of some more moments fc shite.

Wait why is Sancho getting bashed all of a sudden? Has been one of our most consistent performers the last few months after a rocky start to his United career, now he's back to being a waste of money?

He’s been one bright spot in the past three months, he will be a big player for us. He was poor on Saturday no doubt but so was everyone bar Fred.

This season so far Sancho's had about as many rotten games as he's had decent ones. He's going to prove yet another shocking waste of money just like those two twats Pogba and Maguire before him.
