So saw on Sky Dortmund want 85million plus addons. Why are United getting held over a barrel noone else is chasing Sancho and Dortmund need the cash.
I hate to break it to you but “just get on and pay the fecking asking price” is not negotiating.

Saw on Sky that United have only offered £67m plus addons. Why are Dortmund getting held over a barrel when Sancho still had two years left on his contract? So saw on Sky Dortmund want 85million plus addons. Tbf you don't know much about business at 14 which is how old I imagine some are on here.I know. Its amazing how naive or stupid people are. How do they think businesses are run?
He is not the only one in here... I am amazed people actually feel we should just go and pay an asking price set by the selling club. It makes zero sense.I know. Its amazing how naive or stupid people are. How do they think businesses are run?
Sancho scored more goals while being hailed for his playmaking abilities, not his finishing. All competitions combined Sancho scored 16 and assisted 20 goals in 2964 minutes, Neto 5 goals and 6 assists in 2723 minutes. So all in all Sancho scores or assists every 83 minutes, Neto does that every 248 minutes, or in other words, Sancho is three times as productive. No wonder people are taking the piss out of you.I’m not really bothered about his discipline anyway it’s more his international form and when I see him in Europe and his price tag that bother me.
Just read he only scored 8 goals last year in BL too that’s only 3 more than Neto for all the geniuses taking the piss out of me earlier in the thread ( not aimed at you two though ).
So you want us to get Neto (17 goals plus assists in last 2 seasons of PL) instead of Sancho? (83 goals plus assists in last 4 seasons of BL). I can certainly see which one is more experienced and established of the two. It's about time we try to sign some top quality players rather than investing in young unproven players.Just read he only scored 8 goals last year in BL too that’s only 3 more than Neto for all the geniuses taking the piss out of me earlier in the thread ( not aimed at you two though ).
We said that last year as well.... We'll end up paying close to what they want I'd imagine or we ain't getting him. Unless we're willing to wait another year but that would be ridiculous. So saw on Sky Dortmund want 85million plus addons. They don't, thats why than can hold on to their valuation of SanchoSo saw on Sky Dortmund want 85million plus addons. Why are United getting held over a barrel noone else is chasing Sancho and Dortmund need the cash.
Of course they do. They posted a £43.9m loss in the 19/20 season and their financial report that year revealed that part of their business model is making a significant sale each summer. That didn’t happen last summer and they’ve just had another season with gate receipts almost non existent. They don't, thats why than can hold on to their valuation of Sancho

He’s doing it in a weaker league for the second best team in it who plays attacking football, whereas Neto is doing it for a defensive team in a harder league, but you have posters just trying to make fun of his stats I don’t even think they’ve watched him play.Sancho scored more goals while being hailed for his playmaking abilities, not his finishing. £90m is a pretty big price to find out if a player is a flop or not I’d rather be sure that we are getting a player that will produce. So you want us to get Neto (17 goals plus assists in last 2 seasons of PL) instead of Sancho? Remember that Firmino, Aubameyang, KdB, Sane were also signed from Bundesliga and I think they are doing/did pretty well here. Just looking at flops in Mkhitaryan and Kagawa doesn't really help. There are hits and there are flops. Applies to every league.
Big difference when you’re talking about playing for Wolves too.3 goals is a big difference when you’re talking about low scorers. Only 23 players managed 8 Bundesliga goals last year, while 69 managed at least 5.
Sorry to break it to you but there are no guarantees with any transfer. You can't be 'sure' about a player.£90m is a pretty big price to find out if a player is a flop or not I’d rather be sure that we are getting a player that will produce.
I suppose I’m just cautious because we’ve been burnt so many times before in recent history with huge transfers, I hope we do sign Sancho and he turns into a Messi .2.Sorry to break it to you but there are no guarantees with any transfer. You can't be 'sure' about a player.

Lukaku and Sanchez were supposed to be "sure" things, and they "proved themselves in the league" as well. I don't need to remind anyone about what followed.£90m is a pretty big price to find out if a player is a flop or not I’d rather be sure that we are getting a player that will produce.
Nonsense. Only top and established players get such type of money in Premier League clubs.a mammoth wage at about £350k weekly by Luke Augustus
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 350k there has to be a reason he’s so eager to leave and we have atrocious history with contracts. There's this article on the Daily Mail claiming we'll hand Sancho a mammoth wage at about £350k weekly by Luke Augustus, if true this would surely cause Pogba's camp to demand silly money.
No joke.. I offered £40,000,000 for a player a couple of days ago. They asked for about £48,300,000 and then as a laugh I offered £40,000,001 and they acceptedJudge needs to get the Fifa guys in, you up the fee by 6 million and BAM!! the CPU agrees to the deal
Fair enough. I think Sancho is one of the best young footballers in world football and players like Raphinha and Neto don't have the same quality. There’s on difference with my reasoning to say if we put Neto in a better team he will put up better numbers at a fraction of the price.
Why are you assuming this? We've often paid large fees for players - see Rio and Rooney. If we believe in the players talent nothing wrong with paying a large fee. At the same if we don't agree with the valuation again nothing wrong with walking away. This whole narrative that we are getting played is just fans being negative, really. So saw on Sky Dortmund want 85million plus addons. This'll be Pogba's last big contract at 28,Riola will be looking for silly money Sancho or no Sancho. There's this article on the Daily Mail claiming we'll hand Sancho a mammoth wage at about £350k weekly by Luke Augustus, if true this would surely cause Pogba's camp to demand silly money.
reducing Sancho to his number of goals makes no sense at all. I wonder if some here have actually seen him play.
The good ol' Saurez clauseNo joke.. I offered £40,000,000 for a player a couple of days ago. They asked for about £48,300,000 and then as a laugh I offered £40,000,001 and they accepted
Should have gone for a proven PL player like Adam Lallana. The same people skeptical about Sancho's numbers must have been skeptical in the exact same way when we signed Bruno who's numbers were also high at Sporting. It's not everytime players who seem to be of lesser quality are unearthed gems. If you're a good player you're a good player and we'd be foolish to turn him down for scrubs like Dembele due to this exaggerated fear he may flop.
