No, for the difference in price we got Pellistri.
Combined they were less than £30. The add ons that are in the deal for Amad would mean he has had some form of success with us which should mean some form of financial reward for the club anyway.

I love how Romano’s best, most reliable source on this transfer was Marcus messing about on Twitter

I was right all along on this chancer, wayyyy back when.
It's clearly a joke. He's done it before with other things. Don't blow your load with the Romano hate on that. Tsk tsk.

For Rashford to openly confirm this, Jadon must've been told BVB would announce the deal soon? I know MUFC are holding off on medicals / media til end of england's run, but I doubt BVB really care?

C’mon why even mention it, it’s like he’s desperate for validation from a person who’s close or in contact with the player.

He knows as much (or little) as the other clickbaiters.

BVB will probably take a screenshot of their bank balance once our payment has gone in with the line ‘You love to see it’ written across it…

That’s when we will know. Small club things. :wenger:

This thread is dead, Rashford tweet is not added to the title.

No matter how many times it is shown that all Romano does is rehash old tweets and has no real inside knowledge people still believe in him

Won't look very impressive when they show that they received roughly 18m €, because the payment is spread over 4 years and City get 15%. :D

Big day today, Sancho then. Yep. Yes x

If a deal was going to be announced before the euros (not that it actually matters, seeing as though this will 100% happen) then it’s most likely to be today or tomorrow with them being tournament rest days, I’d imagine

I think that was a feck up by Rashford's social media team. He's openly said that he rarely uses social media and leaves it to his team.

a "hacker" that just so happens to use the same posting style as marcus, made no additional posts that you'd expect from a typical twitter hacker/troll.

Sweet Marcus.....so innocent, so pure.

Do not want anymore, I'd rather we sign Clośe from Fewdays, he seems popular. Everyone is going on about him

I don’t believe I specifically called out Ed, I said the board, and I’m not necessarily saying they are incompetent (in this matter). I’m saying that if you look at the numbers, financially, and prize money, specifically, progression to the knockout stages of the CL and potentially deep into the quarters or semis would have paid off. Winners of the CL earn roughly €95m, quarters is like 60-70m I believe. That’s not “stark raving mad”, it’s business. You saved 30m, and lost the opportunity to increase revenue. Same with the league. Do I think we win the PL with Sancho? No. Would we have increased our chances? Absolutely, and the prize money that goes along with it. Progression in the CL and PL, more prize money, and one season of knowing your teammates, tactics and the staff better?

Hindsight is 20/20, but knowing where we landed without Sancho, FROM A BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE, we absolutely should have done the deal for Sancho last summer, even though it was for more money.

Absolutely. There are many who are rubbing their hands that we will pay less this summer than last summer for Sancho. So what? Did we win anything last year? No. Could we have possibly won something last year with Sancho? Possibly.

Same with Varane and Haaland to a certain degree. Players of the right quality rarely become available. It is largely irrelevant if their contract is expiring next year or not. If they are available THIS year then we need to be in for them
