Would be quite shocking if we did put in a bid of £72.6m and they allowed the deal to fall through as they want £80m for him with most of that up front

and we sign grealish on the last day.

zorc gets fecked then.

I think you have your tin foil hat on too tight. Jan is not an ITK nor does he present himself as one, he is pretty well connected to a couple of the German clubs and he limits his comments to those, not sure if he has ever tweeted anything on that front that has been proved wrong.
People get way too wound by him. He's never presented himself as a journalist like Romano or Falk or anyone else. He's just an ex player with connections who gets fed info to create a narrative. It's nothing to get upset about.

He's a pundit on Norwegian TV, and used to be a regular on German TV for a while as well. He loves Bundesliga from his years playing there and will always talk it up positively when he can. People should listen to him as much as they listen to Neville, or Keane if he had Twitter. Or Souness if it was Pogba negotiating the deal to buy Sancho.

I'm still getting a bad feeling over this, watch Utd say they're unwilling to go any higher,

This deal is as good as done , probably will not be announced until England are out of the Euros but it is as good as a done dealio.

Seems like a brief from us with Hirst, Ducker, Stone... Makes it doubtful but then Bild came out with it first...not sure.

I think StatmanD (aka in more intimate circles, StD) is seeing what most Bundesliga fans are seeing:

I doubt is this is true -- we just got rid of one source of discombobulation within the changing room ala Sanchez and his massive wage package, we ain't going to have another own goal. A 21y.o at that. At this trajectory, Jadon will be on a Messi wage package by the time its up for re-negotiation before his 25th birthday.

It must be some Dortmund leak to justify his leaving.

350,000 per week? Surely not? That’s insanity
Yes, but 250 - 300,000 per week would’ve been reasonable taking into account:
  • Pogba = 290,000 (probably much more if his contract is extended).
  • Martial = 250,000:wenger:
  • Mata = 160,000:wenger:

We destroyed our wage bracket years ago.
The Martial & Rashford renewals along with Sanchez and De gea.

£350,000-a-week if all bonuses are triggered. He is already on £290,000-a-week at Dortmund.

I heard he was relatively on a high contract at bvb already. Even then i don't expect his wage to touch 350k

I thought one of the things being said was that he was on mega money at Dortmund and would actually be taking a slight pay cut to join Utd?
