I'd love him but his injury record is very worrying.
Like someone else said if he could guarantee us 25-30 games a season I'd be happy to bid 35 million for him.

People say he hasn't progressed all that much, how do they actually expect him to progress if he's always injured?
He's still showing 'potential'. He has to turn out performances like this every week to be considered excellent. He's the same age as Neymar and Eriksen, but they are miles ahead in their development. Typical of the English press to hype a player after a good game (only to churn out articles warning us not to do so when said player retires at 34 after a middling career - and repeat again and again).
Neymar I'll give you, easily. But Eriksen? Really? If Wilshere played for a team of dross like Spurs he'd stand out much more than Eriksen does, believe me.
The media have been pretty hard on him when he's not performing.

He's been injured every season for the past 4 seasons, if I'm not wrong. Has he ever played more than 25 league games in a season for Arsenal?
35 in 2010/2011 and 25 in 2012/2013.
If he gets over his injury problems he could become a monster of a player. At the moment though the injuries are really dragging him back. More recently though he has looked a lot sharper and his burst of pace seems to be back.
As we saw with Ramsey, once he was able to fully trust his body he regained his confidence and pushed on a player. Wilshere needs to take that step now and I think a lot of his game will develop from that.

Injured again. 6-8 weeks with his ankle again.

What a shame, he's incredibly talented and I want to see his potential blossom for the English national team. He's fecking cursed
