Italian Serie A - 2019-20

Nice assist there from Cronaldo. Bit lucky with the deflection but that happens. Looked very rusty in all games since the break but a goal and two assist on a fairly poor night is solid, even against 10 man Lecce.

If Juve had this kind of refereeing for them the italians would still remember it 30 years later

Obviously everything's right on the 3 italian sports newspapers, the penalty was OK  and the referee got good grades............hope Juve wins other 20 straight titles and feck off everyone.

Lazio is 14 for and 3 against, Juve is 10-8. Even Genoa and Lecce had more penalties awarded than Juventus, what's the problem?
Update: 15 penalties for Lazio until now. And the last one was ridicolous.

Can't schedule games with closed doors at this hour in late June, seriously. It's nearly 40 degrees here, that's how you end up with a big game looking like a training session...

FT: Milan 2-0 Roma

Smalling gave away a penalty with a lazy leg that tripped the player on the edge of the box

What a goal for Milan

Glad to see Rebic doing well. Off the 3 Frankfurt attackers from last season he looked the least impressive to me, yet he's having by far the better season with his new club.

7 goals in his last 8 Serie A matches and generally been really good since the turn of the year.

Andre Silva also had a really good return following the coronavirus break, after having a bad start to the season, similar to Rebic.

In the end, looks like both AC Milan and Frankfurt would be satisfied with a trade of the two, as they are actually on loan at their respective clubs.

When it comes to Verona, I'm always raving about Amrabat - who is great - but Veloso has been brilliant this season, too. They have a very good partnership going.

Zaccagni is a decent player as well.

The portugal veteran? Can remember him around 2006!

Ha, that's the one! He's been very impressive this season. Reminds me of Carrick, but is a lefty instead of a righty.

Can remember loads of premier league teams linked with him around that time but it never happened and he went to Kiev instead. Seems to have settled in Italy now.

Glad lazio turned it around and won last night to keep in the race, gets boring Juventus running away with it every year. Interesting I've just read we'll pocket up to 30% of Luis Alberto's transfer fee should Lazio sell him, they value him around €69million. Had no idea we negotiated a sell on clause on him.

A buy back would've been better, he'd be scary for you. Scarier than he is for lazio

What a 2nd half. 6 goals, all brilliant, with a last minute equaliser.

Feel for Silvestre. Had a good game but Sassuolo more than deserved their point.

Never really followed his progress after he left us, I just know that he plays for them now. He only played several games for us and was sent to Spain for a couple of loans. Your probably right there out of all the players on buy back clauses we've had Tom Ince, Brad Smith, Ryan Kent, Jordan Ibe etc.. none of them proved worthy of it, we should have inserted one in there, but it looks like we'll make profit anyway should Lazio sell him on for big money.

Boga is an interesting player isn't he? So much pace but still feels like rest of the game needs to come together. Still just turned 23 and 10 goals in Serie A now. Two years ago he wasn't getting in an awful Birmingham team that were bottom 3 in championship much of the season.

Can see him getting a move higher up Serie A in next 12 months.

Yeah, he's always very impressive whenever I see him which, to be fair, is not much!

The commentators today mentioned he used to play for Chelsea. I think I remember hearing that in the past but forgot. They really have a habit of losing these promising players.

One of those they loaned out for a few years. I think he's actually a Sassualo player now but could be wrong.

Actually started the opening game of 2017 season for them when they lost 3-2 at home to Burnley although seemed that was more of a protest selection by Conte to board over lack of signings made that summer.
