Fair. No, I didn't confuse him as I read enough of his posts to know his stance, but I thought that he was American.
I'll edit that part in my reply.

You seem to have a problem with comprehension. Especially when someone doesn't have as exactly the same view as yourself.Oh dear.
That's coming from the guy who thinks that Syrians should give up on the Golan Heights and Israel invading and occupying new territories in Syria, for "security" reasons is something any country would do. I'd have never guessed.
You post here once in a blue moon, if any. You just saw another chance to take dump on the Arab/Muslim voters, who are a drop in the ocean, while more than half of the US voted for that madman. I know it's quite trendy at the moment and helps people forget that the last US President unconditionally supported the genocide in Gaza in the past 18 months.
Your post was nothing more than schadenfreude.
Bloody hell. No, I didn't confuse him as I read enough of his posts to know his stance, but I thought that he was American.
I'll edit that part in my reply.
Biden wasn't good for Palestinians but it was obvious to anyone with a brain that Trump would be worse. I did think it might take longer though. And it seems odd that people would want to not discuss what is actually happening. Those of us who voted for Harris were considered selfish and heartless. We expressed clear dissatisfaction and anger about Biden’s policies in the Middle East. But we also knew who was/is Trump. He feels the needs to out-Biden Biden when it comes to supporting Israel.
Nice dodging. You seem to have a problem with comprehension. Especially when someone doesn't have as exactly the same view as yourself.
What difference does it make, even with the ban the slaughter continued , the difference is Trump is unapologetic about it while Biden pretended to care about Palestinians but carried on supporting the slaughter.Voting for Trump looking like a great idea for those wanting a better outcome outcome for Palestinians.

American Muslims and Arabs did the right thing, you can’t reward Biden and his party after what they did.
Basically, but there's not a chance Egypt and Jordan will take Gaza's 1.8 million people. Egypt's military has been against it for a long time (the entire conflict) for the reasons you give. Trump may play hard ball but he cannot manufacture geopolitical facts such as the above where the solution is nonsensical.Forget Trump, can you imagine the absolute domestic turmoil that would ensue if the autocrats of Jordan and Egypt actually agreed to facilitating this full ethnic cleansing. There'd be absolute carnage on the streets of Cairo and Amman. Trump has put spineless fools like King Abdullah and Sisi in a zero sum situation. Either they bend the knee to Trump at the expense of their respective people's wishes by turning their countries into even bigger refugee camps for Palestinians, or they get slapped with the usual Trump blackmail sanctions.
It makes a huge difference. Obviously. Worse is worse. Obviously. What difference does it make, even with the ban the slaughter continued , the difference is Trump is unapologetic about it while Biden pretended to care about Palestinians but carried on supporting the slaughter.
Republican or democrat it doesn’t matter, there isn’t a better option for the Palestinians.
American Muslims and Arabs did the right thing, you can’t reward Biden and his party after what they did.
We can't avoid reading your posts so I'd say you got the better deal.Is it still not possible to put staff members on ignore ?
Not for the majority of the caf.We can't avoid reading your posts so I'd say you got the better deal.
We have to read your posts as well so ....Not for the majority of the caf.
It can not get objectively worse, get your head out of the sand and do some research on what has been happening in Gaza.It makes a huge difference. Obviously. Worse is worse. Obviously.
And dummies who voted for Trump made things worse. Obviously.
We can't avoid reading your posts so I'd say you got the better deal.
Who are you even talking to here?We have to read your posts as well so ....
The problem with fanatics who can't even cope with people who (in this instance) agree that Palestinians have been treated abominably unless they blindly follow exactly what you think, to the minutest of detail, is that (in this case) you end up electing Trump and then don't want to admit that was a massive feck up.
That I can agree with. My position was to vote for independent or Green, I wouldn't advocate voting trump with a clear conscience. Asking and expecting people to vote for the Dems after what they did was completely off the table is what I'm arguing. The right thing would have been not to have voted at all. Not to switch their vote from one genocidal corrupt cnut to another.
That is a fairly vile accusation. Especially when you seemingly admit it was an error of judgement. If you actually read what I posted rationally you would know I predicted Trump would be worse for Palestinians and the reason I predicted that was because I wanted better outcomes. If you voted for Trump because you wanted a better outcome for Palestinians then you might well be an idiot, a rube, a delusional goon but then at least you had enough humanity to be concerned with getting a better outcome for Palestinians. Surely that beats someone who doesn't give a shit about Palestinians and who just callously sneaks about, waiting to rub people's noses in the death and carnage out of spite.
Don't be silly. I know exactly what happened. And Trump will make it far worse as he already is doing. It can not get objectively worse, get your head out of the sand and do some research on what has been happening in Gaza.
Do you misunderstand how the reply function works?Who are you even talking to here?
Grinner used to post in this thread and then got binned. So there still some hope.We can't avoid reading your posts so I'd say you got the better deal.
What are you talking about? Grinner hasn't been restricted in any way.Grinner used to post in this thread and then got binned. So there still some hope.
Who is the fanatic who ended up voting for Trump you mentioned in your reply to me?Do you misunderstand how the reply function works?
The people who voted for Trump thinking it would end well. Something you responded to.Who is the fanatic who ended up voting for Trump you mentioned in your reply to me?
You certainly don't post like you do.Don't be silly. I know exactly what happened. And Trump will make it far worse as he already is doing.
You certainly don't post like you do.
And as far as I can see the ceasefire happened as Trump was about to take office. Looking at it in isolation things are better for the people in Gaza now, Biden just prolonged the bombing when he could have ended it months ago.
The situation is so fecking dire in Gaza that the bar is so low for being 'worse' it doesn't even matter anymore.
It's the American MIC, Wibble.Trump this, Biden that. It's just what the American military industrial complex is going to say/do regardless of who is in power: in foreign affairs, with some divergence (over decades), the two party system resolves to one public service infrastructure.Trump would be worse for Palestinians
I do. But most of you wouldn't recognise context or nuance if it introduced itself. You certainly don't post like you do.

And biden was allowing israel to starve and kill them all. Much better.I do. But most of you wouldn't recognise context or nuance if it introduced itself.
Trump just stated that he thinks Palestinians should be totally removed from Gaza. Totally. All of them.
I never actually complimented or agreed with people voting for Trump for the sake of Palestinians, so still have no clue what you're talking about and why that was directed at me.The people who voted for Trump thinking it would end well. Something you responded to.
Doesn't matter in the sense of whose in power in the America, both sing to the same hymn sheet on this matter, whether it was Biden still in power it would still be horrendous.Doesn’t matter to who? I expect it matters to the people who are living there.
You would hope it is bluster but this is Trump without the restraints of his first term. And he now knows he can get away with anything whatsoever. So who knows? It's the American MIC, Wibble.Trump this, Biden that. It's just what the American military industrial complex is going to say/do regardless of who is in power: in foreign affairs, with some divergence (over decades), the two party system resolves to one public service infrastructure.
Dems allowed and sponsored a genocide. GOP now wants to, if you believe Trump, continue it and remove Gazans to Jordan or Egypt. But this last one isn't going to happen. It's not politically possible for Egypt or Jordan to take that number in and Trump doesn't know the situation despite his privileged updates. Your average historian knows more about the conflict than your average president What he's touting cannot happen and also expect Saudi cooperation re Abraham Accords. It's bluster. You might see some movement but not two million people.
No one on redcafe did.I never actually complimented or agreed with people voting for Trump for the sake of Palestinians, so still have no clue what you're talking about and why that was directed at me.
Yet you commented as such.I never actually complimented or agreed with people voting for Trump for the sake of Palestinians, so still have no clue what you're talking about and why that was directed at me.
You don't. As if you did you would have known Blinken already tried this but was rejected by Egypt and Jordan.I do. But most of you wouldn't recognise context or nuance if it introduced itself.
Trump just stated that he thinks Palestinians should be totally removed from Gaza. Totally. All of them.
