Was this an intentional or accidental Alan Partridge?
100 percent intentional, have to find some laughs somewhere.

It's either Sarr or Dembele
AgreeJust sign nobody, rather that than filling the squad with shite again.
Strong assessment. You seen much of him? This is sickening, just go with the 2 kid wingers, to spend £25M on a loan for this bum because you fecked the Sancho deal up is stupidity, even worse if we pay £45M and are stuck with him.
According to talksport Watford want 25m penalty clause if you choose not to sign him end of the season.
He's a good player but didn't assist or score a huge amount last year. Probably where Adama Traore was two years ago.
Would've thought if you were spending that much but can't get a Sancho or Dembele you'd go all in for Saint Maxinm.
Or Adama Traore.
Plenty of options for RW - Issue is we will be priced out cos we've left it so late - shock!
He’s a mid-table Premier League winger, a couple of strengths but really obvious limitations. It’s not like he’s torn it up at Watford, is it?
Ismaila Sarr
Watford - We will not let him go...............
Man Utd - Let him goooooooooooooo
Ismaila Sarr
Dembele has done nothing in 2 years. I approve of this signing.
Dembele has higher potential than any thing this lot will ever have.
This.Just sign nobody, rather that than filling the squad with shite again.
I like Sarr and think he's the best fit for us than the young players we've been linked with, and the crock with a poor attitude in Dembele too.
Sancho looks unlikely but never know.

Sarr will be even more underwhelming signing than Daniel James was. Hell I was excited with James even more.
It just gets more embarrassing going for deals like this on the last day.
This is the profile of player we should be targeting:
Young talents who are creative and productive 1v1. Sarr is neither.
ASM would be perfect, and might have been obtainable. No way Mike Ashley, of all people, turns down a decent offer in the middle of a financial downturn.
As Wenger famously called it, we need a 'chaos creator' against low block teams to create space and force mistakes.
People are doing the same thing with Sarr as they did with Maguire and AWB - trying to convince themselves, against all known logic, that signing a slow, plodding centre back and a full-back terrified of the ball was the right decision.
Sarr is a physically upgraded Dan James. He'll be beyond useless against a low block, he can't consistently beat a man 1v1 (one of the lowest take-on win % in the league last season), has absolutely nothing special technically...it's just a terrible signing for us.
His one major attribute, his speed, will be totally nullified in 90% of our games. Against a low block he'll just turn into yet another: receive ball > oops no space to run into > pass sideways or backwards.
What's worse is that I'm absolutely sure that the people trying to convince themselves that this is a good signing, if they've watched Sarr in any way, already know all of this.
