Is this the worst transfer window since they were introduced?

I don't get this at all.....the EPL has left it's teams with their pants down for 20 days. Gonna be a whingefest for 20 days.....and some will still go, does no one any favours really, maybe the bottom half where players won't be massively targeted abroad.

put Liverpool aside for a second.

- Chelsea have simply replaced a world class keeper for someone who is a potential WC and double the price. Bought a central midfielder (as did we) and loaned someone from Real
- Spurs - feck all
- Arsenal - a keeper to replace chech and another defender
- City - Mahrez

I think a lot of fans will be disappointed by the players coming in this summer and perhaps clubs have decided to wait until the ridiculous fees start to come down

Very disappointing because it was bloody obvious what position need strengthening.

The truly frustrating thing is how close we are to having a side that can challenge for titles.

It was so obvious we needed a pair of full backs and a RW. Ed and the board has known about this for a long time and instead we let the side stagnate while City and Liverpool strengthen.

Its clear now that the Glazers dont have ambitions to win the league or Champs league. They rode SAF's coattails and now they will ride the club till the money starts running out then they will sell...no sweat off their backs.

They are a cancer and the decline of the club started as soon as they bought the club.

Actually they got rid of an unhappy player, beefed up an already excellent squad with a world class starting midfielder abd a potentially world class youngster on loan, got rid of an unhappy manager, replacing him with one reknowned for exciting football which hrlped keep two disillusioned key players in Willian abd Hazard.

Ill give you that. Still though their first XI is better balanced than ours

This is just wrong. They brought in a younger well rates keeper to help and potentially replace Cech, an experienced center half, brought in a top dm talent and excellent cover for him in a French youngster. Literally covering all the major holes they needeed filling up on their squad.

- City - Mahrez
Needed Mahrez. Jorginho was a luxury

That's their business. My beef is with not bothering to address the clear problems that exist in our first xi that scuppered our title and UCL bids. Woodward had no valid excuse. Not when he is making last day bids for the likes of Godin.

It really, really isn't. We've signed a good, experience 3rd keeper, one of Europe's most exciting young fulbacks and a quailty, technical midfielder. We've also brought Pereira back into the fold, given a good holiday and a full preseason to a world class attacker who we brought in last January and kept hold of all of our most exciting players.

We've had seasons where we lost Ronaldo and brought in Michael Owen and Obertan. Others where we fecked about embarrassing ourselves for 3 months and then paid more money for Fellaini than his release clause.

There are a few on here who'd want to catch a hold of themselves. The media and other fans are absolutely loving rousing up all this doom and gloom surrounding United, we'd do well to take a step back and be a bit sensible, rather than leaping in to dance on the gravestones ourselves.

Throwing players at an already good squad isn't going to magically fix our laboured attacking play. Getting behind the team and displaying a bit of positivity about the club might just help more.

2006 Losing RVN and only signing Carrick
2009 losing Ronaldo and Tevez and signing Owen, Valencia, Bebe and Obertan
2013 Signing Fellaini for more then his release clause was a week or so before

Yep never before has the team had so many obvious flaws that haven't been addressed, this is even worse than the Moyes (he inherited a title winning side) and LVG summers (Di Maria & Falcao/Schneiderlin & Schweinsteiger)
I can remember a lot of United fans creamed their pants.

In hindsight the first one was a genius bit of business.
