Is Neymar a childish brat?

'Shit tackle and shit timing with Neymar planting his foot down, can clearly see a nasty twist under the weight of Thiago.

That doesn't look good. With or without neymar psg look bang average and we should have knocked them out.
I'm baffled how we're in such a decent position in the league, and out of the CL, when we should have really won a lot more games. We should be dominating.

The tackle doesn't look that serious as I had imagined, did he injured his ankle or knee? Anyway he always gets injured around holidays and sister's birthday so who knows.

Yeah very sad and unfortunate that he’s injured but that’s just a yellow card. Just horrible timing.

Get well soon Neymar. Massively underrated, top class player, but a shithouse.

If serious, does this mean he misses the knockout stages and gets to go to his sisters birthday party 6th year in a row?

Played vs Dortmund this year? He probably has to plan something really special to make amends for skipping a year.

I thought the tackle was worse when I'd read about it online. It's a bad, nasty tackle no doubt and deserving of the red, but I thought we were in Andre Gomes territory.

A shame for him. He was finally putting together a stellar season for PSG.

According to the latest news, he should only be out for 10-15 days. I wouldn't have bet for less than 2 months last night, he ankle really took a bad angle.

Long story short, he'll be ready to go for the clash against Barcelona.

Just seen this footage of Neymar being a really classless prick at his own Five a side tournament.

Anyone else would surely laugh it off and congratulate the young lad but not Neymar!

Reminds me of this classic bit from Kes!

Anyone got other examples of footballers acting petulantly when someone else shows them up?

'Slightly balding Bobby Charlton to kick off'

He had 2 ankle injuries with a broken bone that kept him away from the pitch for months and screwed up one world cup, i doubt he was faking anything (no point, the game was over), he probably just thought the same injury happened again.

At this point I'm biased against him, saw the headlines yesterday about him crying and leaving the game on a strecher but then when I got to see a replay of the foul I couldn't even tell what part of his leg was injured as there wasn't any violent twist in his ankle or knee. So I was skeptical then and confident he was ok and in the end I think it's best he isn't injured even if that means he was bad acting or exaggerating. Also I do think there is a point in keeping the ball and invite players to foul you and get them carded and expelled, that's how he plays.

I don't think you looked properly. Is that a normal position for an ankle?

I don't think any other player in the world would be accused of acting after being carried off the pitch, even if the injury turns out to be less severe than initially thought. Wonder if at some point the mood will swing and people will realize how irrational they are towards him. At this stage, I wouldn't be surprised if people actually cheered if he received a career ending injury.

It's an eversion sprain so it doesnt need to bend far to cause damage.

Hes a cheating little prick in general but that one looks like it would hurt. It's also easier to heal though.

Carlos Valderrama says hi!

But on a more serious note, I agree that the public is a tad irrational when it comes to Neymar. It's easy to forget that he has been on the receiving end on some nasty tackles and injuries. Ya, he doesn't help himself with his histrionics, but still...

I'd get that checked if i was you

Well I already checked and images can be deceiving so while I was expecting something way more violent the reports from the club say tests are reassuring so I still think he's going to be fine and it wasn't as serious as it was made out to be initially.

You must have an agenda against Neymar (wouldn’t blame you for it) because that foul in slow motion looked fecking nasty. After the replay and regardless of his reaction I was expecting him to be out 2 months.

Combined with his previous ankle injuries he was of course scared. It must also be added, that he doesn’t really dive. He oversells fouls for sure and i want to punch his face, but he gets kicked an awful lot.

Look at me defending fecking Neymar... fml

Either they are trying to rush him back or it's a very minor injury. Ankle sprains usually keep a player out for longer.

State of this covidiot.

What a turd.

They should make an example of him and punish his spoiled selfish ass.

I get it, he's an imbecile that happens to be an elite footballer but surely he should have a few more sane people around him to ensure he doesn't destroy his "brand" with this type of behavior.

Damn, this made me angry.

He is such a gifted footballer. If he even had 10% of Ronaldo’s drive, who knows what could have happened, especially when you consider he has been great anyway.

It’s just so unfortunate that he is the way he is, so many bad decisions and poor priorities and he will always be a massive “what if” for me.

That's all on Fred.

We were on way to tearing them apart 11v11 in the second half.
It was a fair tackle and shouldn't have been a card. People argue he should've had a red card earlier, but that doesn't matter. How can you card someone for a fair tackle because of an earlier incident?

Seems that it's 150 persons instead of 500 and tested for COVID.

Still not smart obviously but not as bad as an orgy of 500 without any test.

Is Neymar an orgy guy?

I actually don't think so. Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were far worse back in the days, but thanks lord for them, cellphones didn't exist. Same goes for George Best Paul Gascogne and many others throughout the history of football.
