Thats hilarious money in my view£70m for Rice is too much.

Don't you think we should push out the boat a bit more for Varane then or is he just doing a Ramos of 2015

£70m for Rice is too much. I would say max £60, but hopefully closer to £55.
Can see us selling Lingard, James, DDG and hopefully a few that are out on loan.I don’t believe Rice will cost anywhere close to 90m. We’re also allowed to sell players - I know we don’t usually but I’m optimistic we’ll no longer be morons.
Ole is a Martial fan, he will be there next season.
I would give anything for BILD to be right for onceAccording to Bild United wants to sign Sancho before June 11.
Yeah it is but don't see any other CDM targets on the radar right now

Should get a fair amount to try to buy those 3.
Think West Ham will demand that, doubt they're selling their captain from next season for cheap.
I'd personally prefer Bissouma, according to news reports he wants a transfer.
Ole's recent interest in Caicedo suggests he may not be in for an established centre midfielder. Hope I'm wrong, though.
With Matic aging and Pogba seemingly better further up the pitch, we need another player to go with Fred and McTominay, especially if Ole wants to continue playing with two holding players.
There is also Dalot £15m and the one who's at Lazio,My only concern with DDG is who has realistically got the money to pay him £375k a week, in regards to the other two I would say maybe £20m for Lingard & £10m for James
Because he'll be cheaper, the better player, or both?
He was referring to the attack.I think Carragher is right, what Neville is saying could be right in 4-5 years as Carragher says. I just hope when Nevs said that we get Sancho and it's business done he's purely referring to the attack.

Don't know why it's unfortunate if Martial stays. People have short memories. He's a match winner and to challenge City, we will need all the firepower we can get.I would have thought the elephant in the room in terms of that discussion is Anthony Martial.
He's a player we could get a good bit of money for but would be behind Rashford and Cavani (assuming his form doesn't drop off) in the pecking order at LW and RW respectively. If we sold him then there would be space in the squad for a top class striker and Cavani (who, being 35 by the end of next season, shouldn't be someone we're depending on as our first choice CF).
Unfortunately there has thus far been little noise around Martial leaving, which makes me think it will be him and Cavani trading places at CF next season.

link because they were saying we'd dropped all interest the other day
Really hope that BILD report is on the mark, don't think Muppet hearts can withstand another protracted summer long saga

Tbh, and while I'd love three big signings, I'd accept us getting two if it meant that they filled any of the four gaping large holes in the first XI that we currently have. And then the following summer we get the other two holes filled which should then have us set up to properly challenge City in the league and allow us to go toe to toe with the best in EuropeI would like some of what he's smoking, it can't all be unadulterated optimism.
There's little chance we are suddenly going on a shopping spree when Ole has literally just proven that being frugal still gets results. I would love for the Glazers to splurge, but I doubt it happening.
And Sancho is still not worth 100 million.
It's unfortunate that he stays if selling him meant we could get a genuinely top striker.

Cavani has literally just renewed. 0% chance we go out and sign a striker. We have much bigger priorities right now. It's unfortunate that he stays if selling him meant we could get a genuinely top striker.

Zakaria, Soumare , Carmavinga
In terms of the positions the four I'm referring to are: RW, DM, CB, and striker (Cavani is a great stopgap but next summer we will be targeting someone longer-term, either as a first choice to let Greenwood develop for the next 2-3 years (ideally Kane) or a squad player to rotate if we feel Greenwood is ready to be first choice (ideally someone like Ings)), and that's the way I'd list them in terms of priority too.Which would be your preferred two out of CB, CDM, RW and just out of interest which is your other gaping position

However, for the DM and CB, I'm relatively easy, if the latter is signed before the former (as it currently seems the case might be this summer). The biggest need is getting a proper dedicated RW to finally add balance to the team. It doesn't necessarily need to be Sancho but he's obviously the ideal player to get
Greenwood turns 20 in October. I know he's still young, but him, Martial and Cavani should be more than adequate for the CF position. Add Rashford, Sancho, Bruno, and (hopefully) Pogba and you've got goals and creativity aplenty. Then by 2022 season, Cavani will obviously depart and Greenwood will be ready to take the mantle.I'm not saying it's what we will do, it's just what I'd prefer us to do.
Cavani is great. But he'll be 35 by the end of next season, so there's only so much great left in him and limitations on how regularly he can play. And as for Martial, he'll be going into his seventh season here still not having convinced enough to be first-choice ahead of the aging Cavani. Those CF options don't convince me if we're talking about pushing for a title.
And in Sancho's case I'm surprised at how readily people who want him to solve our RW skip past him playing at LW for most of his time at Dortmund. I'm sure he's excellent at RW too but even still....
We have a unique set up in our side with Bruno scoring so many goals. It means we dont necessarily need a 25 goal striker and that position isnt as important to us as it is to our rivals.I'm not saying it's what we will do, it's just what I'd prefer us to do.

Sancho being able to play both wings is precisely why we should sign him. Rashford is looking extremely leggy and we don't have anyone we can rotate him with. Easing his burden will allow him to rest when necessary so he's able to properly develop and grow, and not get ran into the ground as has been the case recently.
