Really didn't need another Rashford thread .
Why can people not use a thread already on a player ?

Clearly you misread most the posts in this thread.Writing off a kid who's 21 because he couldn't score a goal in the biggest game of his career. You spoiled twats
Why does every player need to be ‘world class’ to be accepted by the RedCafe experts? He is a kid who refuses to pass and is very selfish. Needs to be put in his place.
He isn’t a world class striker. There’s nothing that shows he is going to be one. His instinct inside the the box is non existent. He can’t hold the ball up. The only thing he’s got going for him is that he’s not as bad as Lukaku.
The part where people made massive judgements about his character because he took some free kicks and had the audacity to shoot?Clearly you misread most the posts in this thread.
I rate the kid but the arrogance he displays is weird. It's as if he's enabled too.
No I'm not at all, if you're imagining things that aren't said then of course you'll be upset with this thread. The part where people made massive judgements about his character because he took some free kicks and had the audacity to shoot?
Where was the fecking stick about his arrogance when he stepped up to take that penalty against PSG?
You're talking absolute shit because you're upset he couldn't control a ball that was fired at him. Get a grip
It's sad that people have to make threads like this to deal with a defeat. It really is. This lynch mob mentality is old and embarrassing. No I'm not at all, if you're imagining things that aren't said then of course you'll be upset with this thread.

Right now he's first choice cause there literally isnt anyone else out there. Also how do you know he isnt working on his game or someone isnt working with him. Or is someone is indulging him or not. He's 21 and as you said showed promise and some good stuff, just lacks consistency.Because this isn’t about whether he is good enough it is about how to get the best out of him. Should we indulge him and make him feel like the world is his oyster or tell him he’s not quite cut out to be a first team regular and get him to work harder on polishing the weaker parts of his game and create a more limited but more consistent player.
I get where you're coming from. I think this thread does raise a good question though, Rashford has incredible ability and it's a bit frustrating to see him do certain things he could "easily" erase from his game. It's sad that people have to make threads like this to deal with a defeat. 21 years old and up against one of Europe’s Elite teams.
Give your heads a wobble for feck sake. Anyone with half a brain can see that he’s got all the tools to be a top player when he matures. He’s a good 10 goals ahead of Kane at the same age, totally different player but a reminder that young players are young, inconsistent and usually get better.
And that's my point. He's 21 and very much learning his trade as a leading CF. This is the first time in his career he's been asked to lead a line and it's very much a learning curve. People need to accept that young players who are learning will make mistakes, that's literally how you learn. He has great ability and will one day fulfil it but all this moaning and begging him to not even try stuff is how you get a player that doesn't fulfil his potential. You don't want a striker bearing down on goal worrying about missing rather than being sure he'll score, people need a reality check.I get where you're coming from. Wow...Welbeck was a better player, much better football brain. Why has Rashford become undroppable?, he's been shite. End of story.
Personally all I want him is to stop taking FKsAnd that's my point. He's 21 and very much learning his trade as a leading CF. I'd have certainly preferred it if Pogba took a couple today instead but hopefully he'll work on that part of his game or hand the duty over to someone else.Personally all I want him is to stop taking FKs
Wow...
If he had scored one today, this thread wouldn't existHe’s been watching Ronaldo with his speculative 25-30 yard shots and trying to hit that free kick which either ends up looking hideous or it’s an unsaveable, spectacular goal.
I love Welbeck, he was a trier and a United lad but feck me that's an outrageous statement. He looked like a horse that had been thrown out of an aeroplane whenever he got in the area. You can only laugh
'Better footballing brain' = turned in to bambi on ice whenever he got within 10 metres of the goal.
Hopefully too, he should try to emulate Beckham or Messi with a more conventional technique. Curling them has a higher percentage I feel.I'd have certainly preferred it if Pogba took a couple today instead but hopefully he'll work on that part of his game or hand the duty over to someone else.
Lashing the ball is a 50/50 for me, I don't feel it's worth it but it should be tried every now and again. I much prefer the way Pogba or Fred hits them but I think the thinking is there's not enough pace behind those to beat a keeper of that quality. Anyway, I hope he improves that part of his game, or drops it and focuses on something else instead.Hopefully too, he should try to emulate Beckham or Messi with a more conventional technique.
