Internationals March (Euro Qualifiers)

Not condemning because it happens with lots of teams and is called 'being smart' but England's timewasting has backfired a bit there.

The thing is they weren’t even time wasting. Shaw had the ball a few seconds and was given a yellow. Was quite ridiculous.

He’s lost total control of the game. Embarrassing for him.

He’s probably got the yellow for the challenge correct but how can you book someone who goes looking for the ball for the throw in? He’s very quick to punish “time wasting” despite not actually been that much of it.

Useless Management has made this game difficult
He should have made changes earlier on
He is such a reactive Manager Southgate

Totally agree. The yellows for time wasting have been ridiculous.

I think there has been some timewasting, maybe not with Shaw but with Kane getting 'injured' and then crawling back onto the pitch to waste time and Maguire lying on the floor for a minute or so. Think there's been about three bookings for timewasting.

Again, other teams do it and it's often called being smart.

Meh, I said not sure. I’m not being categorical it wasn’t a yellow. It feels like an unspoken rule in football that you get a warning or a short period of grace after a recent yellow.

I'd say if the 'offences' happened the other way around he'd still be on the pitch.

Saka has been poor.
That is literally all you have said all game. Despite him being involved in everything that is positive. Took both corners very accurately for the goals, and heavily involved in the Grealish chance that should have been 3-0. Weird agenda.

Shaw unlucky to see red, covering the position Maguire was supposed to be in. England have dropped off a cliff 2nd half. Cowardly manager.

Anyone watching this on Irish tv? Brian Kerr is a National treasure, isn’t he?

When the officiating is this dodgy you end up thinking what the hell is the point.
