Amla top class! Loved H Singhs celebration but had to feel a bit for Hashim Amla.

Through all the interviews i have of his, he seems like really nive bloke. I also heard his family are from Surat, Gujrat.

Yes. I do not know why are you getting all offended about.

Americans frequently identify themselves as American of certain origin depending on their lineage. It is wrong to call Amla Asian or that he is from Asia.

Who said I got offended by it. Was just merely stating my point. Not to turn this into a discussion about origins vs nationality but my great great great grandfather was from Germany and somewhere in there you will find some Asian, French etc but I don't consider myself to have my roots there. My roots are firmly based in the place where I was born. Just my thought on it.
 
ODI series starting today.

Should be entertaining. But the future is Tests and t20. The ODI basically consumes too much time for too little entertainment. Tests were never in the danger of getting overshadowed, it was always the ODI IMO.

Give me a 3 hour bash fest than a 8 hour borefest.
 
No Zaheer, Harbhajan, Yuvraj and Gambhir today.

Good chance for Yusuf Pathan to show that he can perform in international arena aswell, he has been good form in the domestic cricket for the last month or so

8 Batsman playing today with no recognized spinner today, with the expected Dew in the 2nd Half of the innings, this decision could backfire. I like Karthik but he is not good enough to be in the team on the basis of his batting only, I hope he proves me wrong today

We don't seem to have the extra quality batsman in the squad after him. He gets his starts though.

Jadeja can turn his arm over as can Pathan and Sehwag. It'd be quite foolish to discount the threat from these three.

I know but due to the dew factor it's difficult for the spinners to grip the ball well, a score of over 320 is essential on this wicket

Do you sit there cheering opposing teams on when they play well and are behind to Manchester United or is this idiocy reserved only for the Indian team?
 
because i dont like the indian cricket team and as a neutral wanted SA to win

its not that i dont like the indian team in particular , just that i dont like cricket much

loved ganguly , love tendulkar .. other than that , whenever i watch it , i dont have a favorite ..
especially when its a pointless odi tournament

different for the WC and indo-pak matches
