India vs Australia - Limited over series

I don't think we'll win this now, Dhawan/Kohli's effort need to be appreciated.

Eight wickets, three dropped catches, injuries all around. Most hilarious 12 overs I've watched for a long time.

This is India's highest score on this tour. What a way to make a meal of a chase. Started with Dhoni but no one else had the nerve to bat in a pressure situation.

This was after the second wicket so the odds on India were probably even shorter minutes before. Mental.

If that was pakistan i would be very suspicious.

It's suspicious regardless which country on an absolute featherbed of a pitch. Also, Pakistan's batting is shit so you'd be able to make some sense of it, India on the otherhand...............

As ridiculous as it sounds, we need to look to improve our batting because the bowling isn't going to get any better. Surely there's a decent hitter somewhere in India who can slot into a #6-ish sort of role do the business. Why rely on third rate garbage like Gurketar and Rishi Dhawan who aren't even that good in the IPL. Also, Jadeja needs to play solely as a bowler. Expecting him to contribute with the bat is utter madness. he's about as much an allrounder as Courtney Walsh was

Dumping Raina, when there's no proper replacement, was quite stupid in my opinion.

His averages in the mid 20's in SA and Australia with 3 fifties in about 30+ innings. He's a bit shite tbh
Yes, but on these pancake pitches and against these pedestrian bowlers, I'd have fully backed him to score well. Far better to have in the squad than the likes of Gurkirat and Manish Pandey

What was Bhogle on about regarding Kohli's innings - could/should have been one of the great ODI knocks?

Against that attack? On that pitch? Ha!

Not sure why everyone is going on about the pitch. Pitches have been flat and about the same for well over a decade now. Only difference is batsmen have got a whole lot better at hitting the ball with the advent of T20's. And Raina has always been useless. Am actually glad we're at least trying out new players instead of continuing with him year after year of repeatedly shitting himself against any half decent pacer.

Wait India didn't end up winning that match. I had to stop watching when they needed less than a run a ball and were closing in rapidly with a single wicket down.

He's been weird about Kohli since Kohli said only ex cricketers should criticise the current ones.

Bhogle even with all his good, sensible and logical talk usually, is prone to talk nonsense on few occasions. Maybe out of bias. I didn't hear/read this instance, but Kohli's innings wasn't even his best in ODIs forget among one of the great ODI knocks. Considering the pitch and the quality of opposition bowlers, it wasn't that great. Kohli's great hundreds are plenty in ODIs, this one can't be one of them.

I think everyone stopped when it was

277/1, it was the 37th over and the RRR had dropped below 6!

We are already into good start, hope we can chase it down.

Terrific catch to dismiss Dhawan, who put on quite a clinic.

 hit the camera. Screw giving it a dead ball, it was a good shot to a shit ball and deserved to be punished.

Should be 10 runs if you hit that.
