India v West Indies

Pujara gone. Part of me really wants a collapse just to see Sachin bat again! Now I'm debating whether to stay up till 4 am to watch Anand-Carlsen. Who cares about work anyway!

EDIT: They gave him not out... I'm surprised!!

Not out!

Awful decision.

Vineet Kulkarni should get sacked. Awful decision. It wasn't even Sachin FFS.

Pujara should be retrospectively given out and Dhoni should take responsibility for 3rd umpire's decision and declare Indian team innings. Come on WI, set a target fo 250+ ffs! Sachin should bat one more time.

OR

Sachin should bat from WI in 2nd inning as mark of protest against Pujara decision.

It's crazy to think that Sachin's prime (statistically) ended 10 years ago and he was still pretty damn good until 2011.

The stats will never tell the full story about Sachin.

Lara put it perfectly. He said that there are players in every sport who's records will be broken and who will be surpassed statistically but who still remain the most revered. And for him, for cricket, taht was Sachin/

Ashwin looks a far more convincing batsman than Dhoni in tests match.

I will so so so miss him :(

Very less chance, although the pitch will still be good to bat on, but nah, even a great effort by WI will result in a small lead so can't see Tendulkar out again, unless he is told to open :D.

Shame Ishant and Vinay aren't playing.

Shillingford five 5 wicket hauls in a row. Damn.

He's becoming a worse Muralitharan (in that everyone else is so shit he has to bowl all the overs and take all the wickets.)

Pujara is in Grade B in the BCCI's centrally contracted players list, while Kohli, Ashwin and Raina are in Grade A.

That's an extremely disturbing insight into the BCCI thought process.

I don't see a problem with Kohli and Ashwin being ahead of him - Raina is a joke

Pujara is irreplaceable. There's no other cricketer like him in India. Ashwin is.

I don't think Ashwin shouldn't be in Grade A, just that.. if anyone deserves to be there after Dhoni and Kohli, it's Pujara.

Having said that, they are bowling fabulously. Both Ojha and Ashwin. Ashwin, in particular, is troubling Chanderpaul.

Pujara only plays tests for India, so I find it hard to see how he can be in grade A. I don't really care about how much the players are paid though. If they play well, they will be millionaires through endorsements.

Billionaires in INR. Kohli is worth upwards of Rs125cr

cam everyvody here vote in the cricket draft? (preferably for me:lol:)

Can we just finish off the match quickly?

Preferably by Sachin taking last two wickets.

And he goes back and kisses the pitch.

I'm out of words.
