India v Pakistan - Tests

Big tits is probably why she looks out of proportion, but that's a good thing. As for implants. I hate implants. So she can do one.

A draw it is then unless Pakistan do the right thing and self destruct. We had to score at at least 5 runs an over in the 36 overs we faced yesterday. I didn't watch that session but I'm guessing the pitch didn't help the batsmen.

Whats the point of promoting Dhoni if he is gonna bat like Dravid. And why Ganguly ahead of Sachin?

They probably thought these two could get quick runs...Sachin should've come at 4.

Doesn't really matter...looks like it'll be a draw.

What an excellent innings from Yuvraj to save the day. This guy deserves his spot in the team and as much as it pains me to say this he should replace Dravid for the Australia tour. We need to stick with the opening partnership of Jaffer and Karthik imo. Ganguly's just scored back to back hundreds. Sachin and Laxman have both performed. I'd hate to see Ponting go past Dravid in all time runs and even worse, see Dravid's career be cut short but Yuvraj is our most consistent performer atm and unless he's given the chance we'll never know if he can replicate that in Tests.

Yes, I agree with this man.

418/5

We need to play 11 batsmen against the Aussies. Our bowlers won't be taking wickets anyway.

Karthik appears to be a bit shit recently. I'd give Gambhir a chance. Or promote someone else up the order and get Yuvraj batting in the middle, without dropping Dravid.

Can't drop Dravid for Australia...not yet anyway.Technically there's very few who can handle the Aussie bowling.Let him know he's in trouble if he fails there for a couple of Tests...I'm pretty sure he already knows its his place that the selectors will be looking at to accomodate Yuvraj.

It would be all so simple if Yuvraj could open in Australia...

Sehwag
Jaffer
Dravid
Sachin
Ganguly
Laxman
Yuvraj
Karthik
Dhoni
Pathan
Kumble

This XI can save us from major embarrassment in Australia. Put up 600 run totals and give Kumble the ball. Hopefully we'll only come back with 2-0 loss in the series then.

Is your next series in Australia or in India?

I don't think your batsmen will have anywhere near as much joy as they have against the Pak attack. Shoiab has been playing with an injury recently and with Gul and Asif also out their wasn't much top class quality bowling on show.

Anyway, I would have thought you lot were more worried about your bowling department - that's worse isn't it? Especially, bowling to the Aussies.. uff good luck.

I wasn't being serious. ANd I did say we'd lose the series 2-0.

It's in Australia and I have absolutely no hope. OUr bowlers will be taken apart worse than ever before.

True, I meant the last bit in general too, there are earlier posts talking about perfecting your batting line up for the next tour against Australia. I just wondered, thought that side of it was more than okay.

Aren't there any good bowlers coming through? I feel like its been a long while since you have had a top class bowler in your side to supplement some of the top class batters you have had.

Oh we have bowlers coming in all the time but they turn to shit as soon as they start playing for the national team. In the last 3-4 years we've have Pathan, Munaf, Sreesanth, VRV, RP Singh (best of the lot) come and go. I've probably missed out on a few.

In fact I have no idea what exactly happened with Pathan. How did our best bowler suddenly become so shit that he cannot bowl with the new ball and is slower than Ganguly? Hopefully crappy, donado or Sultan can answer this.

Piyush Chawla (spinner) looks like a decent prospect so far but he won't be getting a game outside India until Kumble retires. In Tests obviously.

I know what you mean, I could list quite a few like that too. I remember Pathan and the hype around him. It was the same with Sami, he came in and was a bit of fresh air, very fast, similar to Shoaib often did well against India but he's shit really. He hasn't even improved, he's gone backwards, like a crapper' version of Tait, the Australian bowler, and gives out a million wides every match.

Still saying that we have uncovered a gem in Asif, everybody has been saying good things about him and he just doesn't seem like the other few that have come and gone.

This shoulder injury that Asif has had is simply because Pak have over-used him previously and it got to a point where they have had to sort it out. They admitted so as well. Similar to Flintoff in one sense.

I wonder how much of this wasted-talent is simply to do with the boards and set up's involved.

Balls.
I would still back Dravid to outperform Ganguly, Laxman and possibly even Sachin in Australia.
I would have thought people would have realized by now the difference between aussie and indian wickets.

Craps,

I was going to make the same post.

It seems he gave up one becoming a top fast bowler and instead concentrated on developing himself as an all-rounder. I was worried when I looked at him during T-20, it seemed obvious he had decided to just become a wicket to wicket medium pacer. Would probably help the ODI team but don't see much use of him in test matches unless we want a fifth bowling option.

It's a shame really, he really looked class during those early years. Remember Akram saying Pathan was worried that he could not bowl faster among other things. Think one of the reason he lost his way was he never had a good coach to guide him to take that next step. Just tried too many things on his own with bits and pieces of advise.

And I dunno how Kumble being captain is going to work out in Oz. We would probably need to play 3 fast bowlers there and Kumble being captain means he plays the as the sole spinner even if Bhajji's in better form.

TBH Bhajji doesn't have a chance of being picked in Australia unless we can't find three fit pace bowlers. Hopefully Zaheer and RP will be ready in time. I've lost all confidence in Munaf. He simply doesn't have the ability o play an entire series without injuring himself.

Some of the articles I've recently kept referring to Pathan as a support bowler for ODIs. How fecking disappointing is that? He obviously had the talent, he possibly couldn't have lost it all.

He obviously reckons it's much easier for him to get into the teams as an all rounder than to struggle as a bowler who can bat.

What do you have against Kirsten? He seems to be an alright guy. Was a good batsman. Maybe he can teach our openers a thing or two. Don't really know anything about his coaching abilities.

This is the window of opportunity. Both the Ys are gone and if we can get Misbah, we'll get into the no-hopers. Even the follow-on is possible.

At least somebody is still interested in the match here

I think it will end up a draw now anyway. The pitches and crap bowling attacks have just messed the series up. Is it just me or was there not as much interest in this series than there has been previously.

Ya well, it was a pretty dull series. Both sides too scared of loosing to take any real risks. Neither played the extra bowler and all groundsmen refused to let the pitch give any assistance to the bowlers.

There was some sublime batting though... Yuvraj was a treat to watch. Misbah has been uniformly excellent and Jaffer's double was poetry at times.

It hasn't been great preparation for Australia. All their bowlers are fully fit and none of ours are. We'll have to really hope the batsmen continue their form.

feckin 'ell! Kumble has only himself to blame. If only he hadn't taken it so easy and given himself a couple of hours more to work in, declaring earlier, a result may still have been possible. As things stand now, he's doing a brilliant job - 5 wickets down... shades of the magic 10 for at Kotla but there's absolutely no chance with just 15 overs left.

There goes one more... and its a big one - Ul-Haq v2! Yuvraj breaks Kumble's run.

And just as I was typing, one more! Yuvraj got Yasir Arafat. Thats 7 down now with about 13 mandatory overs to play.

Only Yousuf stands between India and victory.

More like India was incredibly stupid, scared and lazy. Anyway, bad light has ended play and thats that. A pretty boring series all in all enlivened by the occasional moments of brilliance.

Glad we doubled the cnuts. I hate them. I don't think Yuvraj should start in Australia. Karthik is better long-term prospect in tests.
