‘Bills are made and repealed … they will come again’: BJP’s Sakshi Maharaj
Days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the contentious farm laws will be repealed, Unnao BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj has stated that the laws can be brought again, if needed.

Speaking to reporters in Unnao on Saturday, Maharaj said, “Bills to bante rehte hai, bigarhte rehte hai…vaapas aa jaayenge, dobaaraa ban jaayenge…koi der nahi lagtee hai (Bills are made and repealed. They will come again, and will be made again. It hardly takes any time)”

Similarly, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra also stated that the farm laws can be brought again if necessary.

Someone else noticed this a few days ago: they really despise every bit of Nehru, they talk all the time about Rahul and sometimes about Sonia, even in states where the Congress is dead.

But they almost never bring up Indira.

saw this serious/depressing tweet, and this hilarious reply:

maybe one day they'll get that the problem with crackers is not the co2...

They do realise lighting candles is also big thing on Diwali as well even if we go by this premise.

What's with idiotic people trying to find conspiracies in the chopper crash that took Gen Rawat's life?
From Pakistan to China to Italy to CPI(M), everyone is getting blamed.

CPI(M) seriously? The idiots can't even win a state election.

Not to forget the RW that is blaming UPA for buying substandard choppers to get kickbacks.

Are they not blaming The Maldivians? The public are agitating to get Indian Military out of The Maldives with a huge campaign of "India Out". Pakistan and China I would understand but the Italians?

That's the Sonia Gandhi connection. Mostly RW folks that come up with such creative stuff

I shouldn’t have been on the bench hearing sexual harassment case against me: Ex-CJI Ranjan Gogoi

The former chief justice said on Wednesday that in hindsight, he should not have been on the bench. “But what do you do if your hard-earned reputation of over 45 years is sought to be destroyed overnight? Gogoi asked. “Are you expected to act with rationality? Is the CJI not human?”

The former chief justice added that in its order, the bench had only said it expected the media to be vigilant, India Today reported. “And what is the media talking about? That justice Gogoi sat on the bench and gave himself a clean chit. We all make mistakes.”

When this was happening we had a pretty lengthy argument with a few cnuts in our law college whatsapp group. I wonder if i should call out those cnuts and post this article ? :wenger:

Are you expected to act with rationality?

This guy was the chief justice of the fecking supreme court

Is there no clear sign of succession for the CDS post? Why has someone not taken over if the post was super critical or relevant?

He is like the chairman of the joint chiefs. Principal military advisor. He doesn't in reality command any troops.

It's the media and so called social media experts. These people need to be outlandish and crazy to stay relevant. The news industry in South Asia has become even worse than transfer rumours. Essentially all driven from the same place.

Somebody in CBSE took the "Indian Culture" thing too far.
My niece took this exam and there was a question about what is the tone of the author in the paragraph. My niece promptly selected "Misogyny", which was the right answer in her eyes. The answer-key says it is "light hearted humour"

Dear Leader's image makeover seems to have started, now that he's no longer needed to look like Tagore :wenger:

Does anyone know any details about what happened at the Golden Temple yesterday?

Seems right out of the BJP playbook to polarize people on religion right before an election.

Anyway the worrying thing is how people have just normalised lynchings. Two people lynched in two days in the name of religious sacrilege and no major politician has the morality to condemn it in fear of losing Sikh votes.

Well said! No surprise the politicians are being morally bankrupt.

Errm BJP can be blamed for a lot of things but it did not force people to lynch people in this case. That's on Sikhs and their extremist stance towards anything that qualifies as scarliege. The media and public response to same has been shameful
