ICC T20 World Cup 2022

Maybe it was the wet ball but those last 30 mins were a lot of fun. Top WC so far.

I am all for having a T20 WC every two years if we don't play it in the UAE or small grounds with flat pitches in India or Eng. 150-180 par conditions produce great T20 cricket.

That was some excellent middle over batting from Pakistan.

The last 2 overs were ridiculous, amount of catching chances SA had, I know it's difficult considering the conditions but they'll definitely be frustrated.

Always entertaining to watch Pakistan bat.

SA already lost a wicket. Yikes.

Pakistans game to throw away

Pakistan just need to make sure that Bavuma stays on the crease and doesn’t get out

Too short from Rauf on this wicket.

Shadab has just turned the game and probably won it for Pakistan with those two wickets

What a game Shadab is having.

This is brilliant from Shadab. Said it before this Pakistan team is pretty good in t20s. They should be disappointed if they don't make it to the semis. That loss to Zim was unacceptable.

Pakistan need to win this, the final game and hope SA lose to Netherlands or India lose to Zimbabwe?

Is that right? Gonna be tough

They won't be going to the semis, SA is not losing to Netherlands and India is not losing to Zimbabwe. This match isn't over anyway.

SA would have to beat Holland. The first tiebreaker is most wins.

I don't know why people post stuff like this. They might lose, that's sport. Otherwise noone would watch.

Yes, it is tough and they have left it too late for themselves. Hence, should be disappointed of how poor they were against Zimbabwe

I think pakistan will be more disappointed with the india defeat which they threw away. India needed 48 from 18 balls. You should never lose from there.

Another match being ruined by the rain. I don’t see how this World Cup can be seen as a success. The rain has ruined far too many games. Whether it’s a washout or reduced overs.

No. India would be a point ahead in that case.
Ahh sorry I meant South Africa v Netherlands. That would need to be rained off for pakistan to proceed on net run rate.

The problem pakistan would have is their match is on the same ground before SA game. So rain would potentially wipe both games out!

Yeah you can't rule anything out. Could easily see a favourite going down or out due to rain and / or DL

No. Pakistan would in that case proceed on most wins (3 vs SA's 2) which is a tiebreaker before NRR.

Should have won that as well but atleast they can say they played well but lost to a Kohli brilliance but against Zimbabwe they were just poor.

SCG is such a lovely ground. Love the members' stands and the Noble Bradman stand. Once they mirror it on the other side, it'll be epic. I can't think of a nicer looking cricket ground.

SCG, Lords and Cape Town. Lucky enough to have been to all three, all amazing in slightly different ways.

Lucky man. Which one did you like the most? Newlands is beautiful. Funnily enough I love OT, may not be pretty but it's got great views and the atmosphere can be electric. That said I loved it more before the redevelopment, sure it was ugly but it had so much charm.

Pure stadium wise - Lords.
Match wise - SCG (I was there for 10/11 Ashes we won 3-1)
Experience - Newlands, mountain in the background, grass verges, cheap beer.

I've been to Lord's. Never really enjoyed the atmosphere. But yeah it's a lovely ground.
