ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

Probably the only remaining player who has lived through a few of the previous chokes is the only one that comes up clutch today. Poetic.

I can't see Aussies tripping up now - the hard work is done.

SA need a few early wickets but i dont see AU not doing this with ease.

ODI is just a dead format IMO, time to retire it for T20s and Tests.
For me the problem is too much ICC event. One 50 over WC and one T20 WC in every four years is the correct way to go. We can have Asia Cup, tri-nation series, Olympic qualifiers etc in between. Remove champions trophy also.

But we are all here watching it and the icc is making money, so why does it matter?

What? There should be an ICC event every year. Most people don't give a feck about IPL and shite bilateral series that take up majority of the calendar each year.

Head back has improved their batting as well..
The finals might not be a walkover after all..

To a philistine American when it comes to cricket, the breakdown by imo the best baseball commenter in social media has even further intrigued me to learn more about this sport...

Yup I love ICC events, bilateral series I don't care for whatsoever. They are like football friendlies.

IPL, PSL, 100 and other such T20 events have the potential to form into a Champions league sort of thing if they do it right, but long way to go for that.

SA haven't given up. Back in the game.

They need like 3 more wickets here to be back in the game the way they got pummeled at the beginning

Marsh is doing a great impression of a walking wicket right now though

Nice one

You've been intrigued by a player who's unlike 99% of the other cricketers, playing an innings unlike 99.999% of other innings in the international game :D

Why is Bavuma not bowling his spinners. Bring on maharaj or shamsi. What is he waiting for.

Agree. Weird captaincy. Bowling markram and then Coetzee on a pitch where it’s clearly turning.

Especially after seeing his part time spinner getting purchase from the pitch , he brings on a pacer to replace rabada. All the pressure was released. Stupid captaincy

Has to be some of the dumbest captaincy in awhile

It's ripping and he's waited 14 overs to bring on his two specialist bowlers

If SA can get one or two more wickets here to put a bit of pressure on Australia, that would be good for the match.

If SA had 50 more runs on the board, this wouldve been so close..
90 is too few.
