England could get 350+ but could also be skittled for 220. They need to get it right here.
*Edit - nvm, just seen the average ODI score on this pitch!
What is it?!
According to Cricbuzz, average first innings ODI score is 235 here. Obviously will be higher now given the modern game, but close to 300 will be a good score here you feel.
275 plus is above par I hope/reckon.
England again struggling in the latter overs. Becoming a bit of a theme.
Latter overs? It's only the 38th!
Last 10 or so then. They've not been closing out innings to the same level they were a year ago or so.
Might get bowled out here. Never acceptable not batting your overs.
I still think you add so much in the last 5 overs, if you get there with wickets in hand.I think that saying became out of date about 5 years ago.
However today we certainly need to bat them out.

You never know how good a pitch is until 2 teams have batted on it. There's still hope the pitch wont favour NZ.You certainly can - i'm not convinced 270 is a bad score here.
Been like watching England in the World cup pre 2015.
My worry for England was that they are very rusty and they have played like that. Someone needed to bat a bit more sensibly and get to a par score atleast . That shot by Woakes who is much better against fast bowling was so so dumb
My main worry here would be if the dew coming in brings the ball onto the bat. Could be alot easier to time the ball.
Were 200-5 off 35 overs today mate. We would never have dreramed of that then.
Just wickets got us today, it happens. No dramas
