ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

Should have stuck with Rayadu..
Pant is fine... inexperienced..

RR over 6.5 and climbing.

Haha you seem to have tickets for anything in Manchester. It was hard to plan for this because of the reserve day. Way this is going, it was probably for the best.
I have friends working with the Indian team and ex-players. Also some contacts at the ground.

My football and cricket team letting me down at old trafford. Once a great place has become a dreaded place.

Required rate is at 6.86..

It's do-able.. but the margin for error keeps getting slimmer..

If we lose one anytime soon, it means they'll have to consolidate again and take it to the last 7-8 overs with the last recognized pair.. that means the Required rate will balloon

I make important life decision with sports-based reasons, like turning down an MNC for a chance of a posting in London. I feck up my health by staying up late to watch football games. I put in leave at work to watch India in the semis.

Pretty bad time to be a Indian Manchester United fan.

I think NZ were in similar position with run rate but then managed to motor a big in the last 10.
They had wickets to play with..
They had 7 wickets in hand going into the last 10.
8 in hand going into the last 15.

India dont. They cant risk losing a wicket when trying to accelerate. That is the major difference.

Dhoni's self belief and confidence is remarkable.
He isn't the same player.. He doesnt have the fitness to run those quick singles or turn 1s into 2s. He doesnt have the power to clear the ground as consistently as he used to.

His game hasnt adapted...

This is set-up for Dhoni to lead them to the final...

For all the criticism he gets, Dhoni’s the only man India would want out there in this situation
I'll take Kohli instead.

The fact that we dont have a middle order and Dhoni is still one of the "reliable" options is pretty sad.

This is some performance by NZ considering their form heading into this game.

Bloody hilarious that India need 148 from 20 after people were complaining yesterday that 148 from 20 with 10 wickets was unfair on India

I have a question, did they "refresh" the pitch last night? Are India essentially batting first? If not then yet another "win toss. bat first. win game".

run rate at 7.7, only 4 wickets in hand.

Not looking very likely.

I blame the rain

Should have done the reduced overs yesterday :nervous:

India's first real shit performance in this tournament comes in semis. Proper bottled this. No excuses, NZ were the better side.

The batting line up was shit against Afghanistan, West Indies and England (despite them crawling to 300).
