I'd say I was referring to our overall bowling over that period. We put the pressure on England and forced Morgan into a bad shot.
England have read the pitch well, picking Plunkett. 300 will be difficult to get.
Obviously I don’t know him personally, but he comes across as a prick. Most of this England team do to be honest. Only Root, Morgan and Ali come across as decent guys.
Of course I’m going to be impaled by the England fans in this thread for my opinion now.
Last 7 overs 2 for 16. Should have taken more singles and attacked Pandya a bit more. The game is most often won and lost in the middle overs and India has done exceptionally well so far
Run rate is under 6 now.. really slowed down here.

Way too many dot balls and allowed the Indians back into the game. Now the match looks like it'll be a tight one and India will fancy themselves to chase a score under 350 (won't be easy but it is doable whereas at one stage England looked like they were going to be out of sight).
That's how Cricket works mate thiugh isn't it.
We will soon see how good a wicket it is - but my gut feeling is that our openers made it look far easier to score than it is.

Well I think England were lucky at the start. Catches falling short, edges missing stumps, given not out when there as glove involved etc.. They were just going for it, lashing at everything. But yes, they didn't have to slow things down so drastically in the middle overs

Yes they did set him up for the poor shot but he still shouldn't have fallen for.
The way Roy and Bairstow played gave him time to get in before trying to take it to the bowlers. I'd have even played out Shami's spell before trying to the press.

Won't mind Stokes getting out but we need Root to stay their till the end.
Stokes has really stepped up for England this tournament when others haven't liked the pressure.
350 is very much on.. wickets in hand.. 100 off the last 10 is pretty do-able.
The slow down was partly down to good bowling, but it was also because England lost a couple of quick wickets and just slowed down before the final assault.
Still a good batting pitch this.
