Basically, when England started batting vs SL England win predictor was 95% and look at how that turned outso whats the point of win predictor?. Is that like the Xg of cricket?
Unpredictable Pakistan have been quite predictable. Start well, get wickets, fail to get them all out, start your chase positive, give away a few wickets
YET TO COME: A wicket every ten runs or so until it's 90-5, innings begins to stabilize, the over wicket goes at 150-5 then a few more till it's 160-8. One of the tailenders play a gutsy 30/40 until Pakistan are all out 202.
I felt bad the other day when many Pakistani fans were bashing Sarfaraz but today I don't blame them if they criticize him. He should have brought Amir and Wahab much earlier rather than allowing CdG and Neesham to settle and score runs of their spinners. Very poor captaincy. Pak have made things tough for themselves and it can turn out ugly pretty soon unless a Babar or someone plays a special knock.
The amount of turn the spinners are getting today (even Santner) suggests England will have a really tough job on Sunday. Not sure how we can counter the two Indian spinners tbh.Pakistan will chase this down, even though it might take 48-49 overs they'll get it done.
It won't be very useful because I expect England to win vs Ind/NZ and book their place in Semis.

Yes, that is what will probably happen but if I'm not wrong NZ play Australia next and if they lose that, they will be at 11 points, thus making their last game against Eng, a crucial one for them because if they lose that one, they will be giving Pak, SL & Bangladesh an opportunity to get into the Semis even though right now they have a very healthy NRR. So I don't think it will be that easy for England to win that one. Similarly as posters have pointed out, this pitch will cause difficulties for the English batsmen against the Indian spin attack. England are just going to have to go out and give it a bash I think. A lot of people are saying they should try and bat more responsibly against India but it looks like they'll be sitting ducks if they sit back and defend.Yes, that is what will probably happen but if I'm not wrong NZ play Australia next and if they lose that, they will be at 11 points, thus making their last game against Eng, a crucial one for them because if they lose that one, they will be giving Pak, SL & Bangladesh an opportunity to get into the Semis even though right now they have a very healthy NRR. This is a Jadeja pitch if there was ever one.England are fecked if pitch is the same on Sunday.
This reads like a lazy summary written by looking at the score, and not having seen a single ball.Pakistan well in control in spite of that bit of buffoonery by Hafeez. NZ need to get Babar and Haris if they’re to win. If one of them hangs around Pakistan will win.
Down to Santner to win this for NZ. Unplayable right nowPakistan well in control in spite of that bit of buffoonery by Hafeez. NZ need to get Babar and Haris if they’re to win. If one of them hangs around Pakistan will win.
Yeah. I’m quite surprised to see the pitch aiding spinners after seeing totally overcast conditions throughout the NZ innings. I guess it’s down to the heatwave in Europe?Down to Santner to win this for NZ. Unplayable right now
This, even Lyon should be able to make the most of this. If it stays this way till Sunday India should drop Shankar and bring Jadeja in.This is a Jadeja pitch if there was ever one.
