ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

This is going to be a struggle. Pakistan probably gonna collapse if anything

Its incredible how bowlers like Wood, Ferguson and Bumrah get high speeds with just shot run ups.

Unpredictable Pakistan have been quite predictable. Start well, get wickets, fail to get them all out, start your chase positive, give away a few wickets

YET TO COME: A wicket every ten runs or so until it's 90-5, innings begins to stabilize, the other wicket goes at 150-5 then a few more till it's 160-8. One of the tailenders play a gutsy 30/40 until Pakistan are all out 202.

Spot on.

I felt bad the other day when many Pakistani fans were bashing Sarfaraz but today I don't blame them if they criticize him. He should have brought Amir and Wahab much earlier rather than allowing CdG and Neesham to settle and score runs of their spinners. Very poor captaincy. Pak have made things tough for themselves and it can turn out ugly pretty soon unless a Babar or someone plays a special knock.

Pakistan will chase this down, even though it might take 48-49 overs they'll get it done.

It won't be very useful because I expect England to win vs Ind/NZ and book their place in Semis.

The amount of turn the spinners are getting today (even Santner) suggests England will have a really tough job on Sunday. Not sure how we can counter the two Indian spinners tbh.

It's like he doesn't think at all about his decisions. This would have been a much easier match if NZ had scored 50 less runs. Pakistani teams are always so fragile mentally - ill disciplined. I fully expect them to throw this away. Even if we do win we'll lose badly to either Afghanistan or Bangladesh. Knowing our luck Afghanistan will pick up their first win vs us.

NZ bowlers bowling way too many deliveries on short length, which gets a boundary and absolutely releases the pressure. It would take a massive collapse from here on for NZ to recover.

Yes, that is what will probably happen but if I'm not wrong NZ play Australia next and if they lose that, they will be at 11 points, thus making their last game against Eng, a crucial one for them because if they lose that one, they will be giving Pak, SL & Bangladesh an opportunity to get into the Semis even though right now they have a very healthy NRR. So I don't think it will be that easy for England to win that one. Similarly as posters have pointed out, this pitch will cause difficulties for the English batsmen against the Indian spin attack. It's going to be very interesting

England are just going to have to go out and give it a bash I think. A lot of people are saying they should try and bat more responsibly against India but it looks like they'll be sitting ducks if they sit back and defend.

That'll go down as the stupidest shot of the world cup.

Imagine being a Pakistan fan right now. What an idiot.

Pakistan well in control in spite of that bit of buffoonery by Hafeez. NZ need to get Babar and Haris if they’re to win. If one of them hangs around Pakistan will win.

This reads like a lazy summary written by looking at the score, and not having seen a single ball.

Down to Santner to win this for NZ. Unplayable right now

Yeah. I’m quite surprised to see the pitch aiding spinners after seeing totally overcast conditions throughout the NZ innings. I guess it’s down to the heatwave in Europe?

Used wicket and under cover the past days with rain around.

This is so tough.

Wow. He connected on that. Saw it coming down outside of the rough.

Come past the rough and launch the spinners over cow corner. Can't wait to see Roy dancing down on one leg to Chahal and Kuldeep on Sunday

This is a used track, England will be getting a fresh strip vs us on Sunday.

Like you mentioned their NRR is very healthy, so I think they'll get through.

Babar looks uncharacteristically responsible for a Pakistan batsman.

NZ in the driving seat here. RRR over 6 already. Batting will only become tougher for every wicket.
