ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

We weren't going to win but that was a load of bollocks from the umpires.

 Don't usually have much sympathy for England but that was a shocking decision. Really feel for Taylor.

According to CricInfo, since becoming ODI captain, Morgan's scores are 121-DNB-0-2-0-0. That doesn't include the duck he had against Pakistan in the warm-up game

That’s terrible, he can’t handle the pressure of captaincy it seems.

Dead ball is different from no ball in that you can still score runs on a no ball but no runs are given on a dead ball.

Here's Graeme Swan's take...

The letter of the law, as I understand it, is that the ball is only dead after he has reviewed it so, James Anderson was right to be run out.

Basically the correct decision was made.

Then again he's probably talking bollocks.

So, it may or may not have been the correct decision.

I think it was wrong. Even the Aussie commentators, who tend to be a tad biased, though it was a dead ball after the LBW. Not that the result would have changed.

It would have given Taylor hundred and some additional runs for England to better their NRR eventually. If final positions come down to NRR and the difference is small, England might feel aggrieved.

A tad?! Nine is awful. What ever happened to the likes of Greig, Lawry and Benaud?

Got old.

Brilliant article tearing into current group of channel nine commentators.

Nice article.

Clarke was a good addition to the commentary and, as the article states, he actually talked about cricket. Mark Nicholas is decent, but the others are just clowns. Although Strauss tries his best to bore me to death, I think Sky has a nice balance of some bias, actual analysis & a bit of comedy (basically Bumble doing something silly).

Ya bumble is awesome.

Here in India on Star we have got cartoons like Manjrekar shitting every time they get mic in their hand, but most of the other cartoons have been pushed into hindi commentary group. In English we have Harsha Bhogle, Akram, Dravid and Ganguly among good ones. It is a treat to hear from Dravid and Ganguly.

What act?

I was not sure at first what he meant. I thought he was referring to Anderson run out which was being discussed. The above logo might be for .co.in specifically I guess though. UK might be having different.

Yup you're right, they must have had a different one

Just seen the Steve a Smith catch. Wow!!

Dead, old/half retired and sick - in that order (as you probably know) and they have taken the obvious route of replacing them on the basis of who is good a matey cricket banter down the pub. They are probably fine for 20/20 or as a pre/post game act for other forms of the game but rubbish for real commentary.
