I'm pleased for NZ. I think they are a good honest side who consistently punch above their weight. I like these sort of teams.
Definitely
Definitely.
NZ, what a win. After their recent record in Dhaka, I didn't give them a chance. Also very good of them to acknowledge the local fans who turned up
How are you feeling BTV after the Aussies lost? Did you think they really had a chance after Dhoni was out?
P.S. I m not trying to mock you, it is a genuine question.
Yeah I thought there was still a bit of a chance, but I knew Yuvraj was the key wicket. Didn't happen, instead Raina and Yuvraj immediately turned the pressure back on Australia by having those 2 really good overs, and it was all over after that.
No complaints, the better team won, you can't have a 1 man bowling attack(Lee) and expect to win a WC.

Nope. That was the initial plan, they played like that for a year with AB keeping, but now with Tahir in, they're playing 5 bowlers. They've pretty much dropped the keeper for a bowler.
It's a rather short batting line-up, especially with Du Plessis at 6. I think that'll stop them winning this WC.
Graeme Smith's been rubbish for a year. It's a batting line-up heavily dependent on 2-5 plus a bit of wagging from the tail.
They are too dependent on Kallis and De Villers. I would be surprised if they amass or chase down a score above 250 without either of those contributing heavily.
Indian Cricket Team beg to differ on that
Why? Are you talking about Kapil Dev? You certainly can't be speaking of the current Indian team.
If Zaheer is out, then I would be seriously worried of our bowling prospects.
I just got home and checked this result.
Can anyone fill me in on how the feck South Africa managed to lose this?
Yeap, can't believe they lost today. I was out for dinner and just assumed that SA would coast to victory. Could not believe my ears when someone told me they were 7 down.Didn't expect it to come true this fast.
The coach and captain should take the blame. Rubbish team composition.
Bhajji still not even close to his best. He was our 3rd best spinner yesterday.Yeah he is your spearhead, but in this WC you've had Yuvraj(2nd or 3rd most wickets I think), Ashwin the last couple of matches, and slowly Harbhajan getting back into the groove.
Australia had no one basically...the bowling group was a shambles, it was good enough against the minnows, because they almost never face out and out pace, but against the big teams they got found out.
NZ - they beat, but matches against them always have a different edge to them
SL - rained out
Pakistan - lost
India - lost.
That was a turn up for the books. Let's hope for another tomorrow.
If that happens and if we don't beat Pakistan then it will be a easy victory for Pakistan. I just don't want Pakistan to win the WC. Anybody but them.

Ashwin is fine but I do not think he will trouble Pak much.

It will be awful if Pak win the world cup in Mumbai. But we have the chance to knock them our ourselves so no one else to blame if miss it.
